We recently held our wedding reception at the Blacksmith Bar in Richmond, and we cannot recommend this venue enough! From the moment we started planning, the experience was seamless, professional, and so enjoyable—thanks to the incredible event sales manager, Shae. Shae went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The Blacksmith Bar itself is stunning and is a perfect entry way into the upstairs private event space. Its cozy yet upscale ambiance is perfect for gatherings of all sizes. The food and drinks were exceptional, with so many compliments. The bar staff Kate and Brody were so fun and great with our guests. The private bathroom access and photo booth were a highlight. If you're looking for a private event space that combines excellent service, a beautiful atmosphere, and a dedicated team, the Blacksmith Bar is the perfect choice.

I came to The Blacksmith Bar on a Saturday evening for a birthday party. The upstairs function room is spacious and suitable for parties and other events, plenty of room for dancing and an area for sitting as well. The food served was really tasty, and the bartenders were friendly. Thank you to The Blacksmith for a good time!

We held a celebration in the private room at The Blacksmith and we're so glad we chose this venue as our experience was, start to finish, excellent. We'd absolutely return for future events and would recommend the team to anyone looking for a beautiful event venue. The planning support was thorough and we were so well looked after on the night including the team being flexible when we needed to make adjustments to timings on the fly. Our guests were all impressed with the venue, the service/ attentiveness of the staff as well as the quality of the food and drink; everyone had a brilliant evening!

The best bar on Swan St, if not all of Richmond. Guinness on tap, incredible house cocktail list plus any classic you ask for, relaxed lounge vibe inside, and friendly staff makes it an essential stop in when you’re in the area.

I recently hired the function space for a reception and had the most wonderful experience. Booking the venue was incredibly straightforward and the food and drink options were fantastic! All the staff were incredible! There was a photobooth which was so fun and the room itself was cozy, stylish, functional with plenty of room for a dance. Could not recommend enough!
