Recently had my 30th birthday here, and can confirm this was the best night of my life. From the beginning of the process til the end, the team were so helpful and wanted to make sure everything was perfect and seamless for the night. The food was incredible and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Cannot speak more highly of such a dedicated and thoughtful team. I will never forget this night and so happy I was able to celebrate it here. Also, GREAT COCKTAILS! The team know what they’re doing.

Genuinely had an amazing time here from the atmosphere, to the food to the service. All staff were very warm and went above and beyond for us. Jason the dining manager also gave great recommendations and really topped off our experience here. I spent a long time looking for a good rooftop restaurant in Melbourne and was very happy with our choice. The menu seemed simple and I honestly wasn’t too keen at first, but as soon as it came out, I couldn’t stop eating. 10/10 experience!! Get the tomahawk for sure!

Booked our wedding reception in the function room and the team were absolutely sensational from the get go. Everything was so easy to organise. The night ran like clockwork, the food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. The waitress serving food found us regularly and made sure we got to try pretty much everything we ordered which was just so thoughtful of her. The fried chicken was a huge highlight! As were the lemon tarts and brownies. All our guests commented on how awesome the space was and how good the staff were. They even accommodated us gatecrashing the downstairs bar for some photos in the beautiful couches. At every stage the whole team have been helpful, responsive and overall just absolute pleasures to deal with. If I could give them more than 5 stars I could. Had our engagement party here, an absolutely fantastic night. The venue is amazing, the staff were great and on top of everything. Food was delicious and a great selection of wines and beers. The Photo Booth is great addition to the venue, and being able to play your own music playlist (eg from Spotify) is very valuable. Will be recommending the blacksmith bar to friends and family who want to host an event/function.
