On Monday they do a $23 steak with chips and I’ve been wanting to try it for ages. The only option is medium rare (which is fine by me). Maybe mine had been overcooked or rested for too long but it was closer to well done. Chips were good and while I don’t expect fantastic for $23 I probably wouldn’t do this steak lunch deal again. Place was busy with office workers, so they obviously do a good trade. Maybe just unlucky for me.

Quite disappointing since prior to ordering an ice chocolate, we asked them if they put ice cream on it, and they said yes! Only to be arrogantly served by whom we reckon the owner and had said something along the line of "we don't have ice cream today." They should have informed us instead of preparing and serving it rudely. The place would be better if the owner had started realising that his grumpiness was not good at all. The arrogance is unreal

I recently visited Henry and the Fox in Melbourne CBD for breakfast with a friend, and we both had the eggs and avocado, each prepared in different ways. The meal was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was impressive. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the avocado was prepared uniquely and flavorfully for both of us. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed morning catch-up. Although very busy, the staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Henry and the Fox for anyone looking for a delightful breakfast in Melbourne CBD.

Great atmosphere, first time visited this restaurant for lunch with my work colleagues. Sweet potato chips was great but the chicken salad had too much salad dressing. It was more like soup than salad. My friend ordered exact same salad, hers was not soupy as mine. Was too tangy.

We had the lamb special, sweet corn and leak risotto, and vegan katsu curry. Everything was soo tasty. Would recommend if you're in town or nearby. Music was upbeat and modern, really good atmosphere and seating.
