Green Sea Shells Mag: Wellness by KK
Cozy spot with friendly service - open late! We ended up here after a long trip back from Phillip Island, just looking for somewhere open late — and were lucky to find this place. It has more of a cozy pub feel than a full-on restaurant, with soft lighting, relaxed seating, and a casual atmosphere tucked just off Little Collins Street. The food (we had a falafel salad and a pumpkin dish) was fine — not amazing, but enough to fill us up. What stood out more was the kind service and the warm, comfortable vibe, which felt like just what we needed after a long day. A good choice for an easy, no-fuss meal in the CBD when you want something low-key and welcoming.

Service and cocktails were great, but the food was both expensive and really average, particularly the mains. Bland/a bit odd tasting, and the gnocchi had a very strange dense/sticky texture which was unpleasant. Might be better for breakfast/brunch or a quick drink than dinner.

Good place to have dinner around Sothern Cross station if you dont know around. I came here for vacation and was looking for a restaurant that is still open after 7pm. It closes much later than 8pm so it is suitable for late dinners. I made a reservation at 8pm but actually on weekdays there is not much need to reserve a table, walking in is ok. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Reasonably priced at around $30. Food was delicious and the restaurant was comfortable and clean.

The char-grilled chicken skewers were disappointing—cold, barely marinated, and lacked flavor, deserving no more than a 2 out of 10. The sides were okay but did little to elevate the meal. Despite the food, the atmosphere was very pleasant, with a lively and welcoming vibe. The staff were helpful and friendly, creating a positive dining environment. Overall, while the service and setting were commendable, the quality of the skewers significantly let the experience down.

Lovely place for dinner, reasonably priced for portion size, excellent service and near public transport. Look out for the specials they have too - have decent vegetarian options and some limited vegan options too! The katsu curry was delicious
