Attended this lovely establishment for a company event on a hot summers evening. The service was great from all the staff and the drinks were delicious. Food was okay however it was a very busy Friday night and the staff would have been working double time to meet demand. I’d definitely visit this location again, probably indoors if the temps are up.

We had a quick bite before a river cruise. Staff were very accommodating in getting our order going so that we had time to eat before the cruise. Food was great and I would definitely go back again. Fish tacos were a good choice for our young diner who could assemble them himself. Nice experience, but be sure to go in through entrance facing the river, as we were told off for going through the side from the shopping centre.

The view and overall vibe of the restaurant were very nice and created a pleasant atmosphere. I ordered the saffron rice with prawns, which was quite average. The calamari and mussels were decent and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the Angus steak was disappointing. We ordered it medium, but it was overcooked and very dry, not meeting expectations. Overall, the ambiance was good, but the food quality was mixed, and the steak definitely needs improvement

My instincts always serve me well!!! 😉 A spontaneous decision to stop and have lunch here was a good one! 🙂 My husband, grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We ordered brisket sliders, Bear Brass beef burger and a chicken schnitzel...and they were all hot and DELICIOUS!!! Thank you, we shall certainly return when we are back in Southgate! 🙏

I suggest you go there for drinks or coffee only. We ordered a burger which was over cooked and a mid/rear steak which we got well done instead. Send the steak back hopefully we will be lucky the second time but it came as mid/well. The waitress never came to check if our order was delivered right. Don’t think she cared
