I would like to sincerely thank Manager Joshua at Sofitel Melbourne for creating a truly magical moment for us. We are new to Australia and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience in Perth. Upon arriving in Melbourne, the hotel was fully booked, so no upgrade was available—which we completely understood. However, as we are traveling in Australia for a month, we have a lot of luggage, and the wardrobe in our room was quite small. When we approached the reception team, they were incredibly understanding and took the time to listen to our concerns. Shortly after, Joshua personally introduced himself, showed great empathy, and actively sought a solution. This is exactly what one expects from a great manager, and I want to express my deep appreciation for his outstanding efforts. Despite the hotel being fully booked that day, Joshua assured us that he would take care of the issue. To our surprise, the very next morning—right after breakfast—our magical moment happened. Joshua had arranged the perfect room for us, complete with a spacious wardrobe. Also tx to Dan, the concierge, created a truly wonderful experience for us—a real tender love and care moment. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and competent. Thank you so much for making our stay special! We are truly grateful for this exceptional hospitality and sincerely hope to have a similar experience at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour.

Location was great, right in the city. Views were fantastic especially at night and the frequent room service 2x a day was great. Breakfast was nice. Unfortunatly never got to try the resteruant. Recommend this place to anyone. Cheers teams for such great hospitality

Our stay at Sofitel Melbourne exceeded our expectations, the accomodation was great - the view of the harbour and city breathtaking. All the team at the Sofitel were polite and helpful , nothing was too much trouble. Special shout out to Laura in the Club Lounge who looked after us during each night of our stay - her customer service was exceptional.

Exceptional service from the moment I arrived, attentive and detailed. Room was stunning, buffet breakfast was delicious on the 35th floor. Bed and pillows were glorious, lots of complimentary touches. Huge towels, bathrobes and slippers. I didn't want to leave. I look forward to staying again!

This has become my go-to hotel for Melbourne, located conveniently near great restaurants, shopping, and the central business district. The hotel rooms are large, well-appointed, and quiet (even if you’re on the Atrium portion). Staff are friendly and professional, and the service is well done. Also, it is very convenient to summon rides or private drivers to pick you up and take you around.
