Reviews for Tazio

Dined at Tazio on a fairly wild Melbourne night, but the interior of this restaurant is very spacious and roomy. The burrata with tomato jam was an amazing twist on a classic dish, I appreciate the waitress serving it with some crusty bread to get the excess stuff up. The mocktail I had was very refreshing, maybe not necessarily appropriate for the climate but still divine. Veal pasta was extremely flavourful and the pasta itself was so nicely cooked. I found the base for the Nutella pizza to be a little bit doughy, but the toppings were very tasty. Overall an extremely pleasant dining experience and I intend on returning when I next visit Naarm.

Tazio is a cute spot to grab a bite to eat, offering a cozy atmosphere and quality food. We walked in on a Friday night and were seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise. However, our experience with the service was a bit mixed. When we were ordering, my friend was still deciding on drinks, and the waitress seemed visibly frustrated. This made the situation a bit uncomfortable. That said, the food was a highlight! It arrived quickly, and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their dishes. A nice place overall, but some improvements in service could make the experience even better.

Had a great lunch here! What a lunch deal too, $25 for a pizza and a wine in the middle of the city? Great value Quality service too, made me feel welcome and I'll be heading right back next time I'm in town.

Good spot for a weekday lunch. The $25 weekday lunch special also comes with a drink - got the messico pizza and it was a great choice. You also have the option of getting a pasta instead. Expect to spend ~$26 for the lunch special. Expect a card surcharge.

came here to takeaway a parma pizza but will want to come back for a proper meal. while waiting for the pizza they gave a complimentary drink which was so kind of them and took the opportunity to explore the space. the interior was so welcoming and they even have a private room for events or bigger gatherings. the pizza itself was fluffy and covered with a light and flavourful tomato sauce that was really enjoyable. the only thing to really comment was the amount of prosciutto, from the pictures you can see the bottom slice was mainly covered by rockets, especially from the pizza’s price tag i would have enjoyed having one or two more pieces. Overall i would recommend coming here especially if you have a craving for napoleon pizza as their space was very relaxing and is a great place to relax and grab some food after a long week !
