Had to terminate our account due to business closure and because I didn't give them 30 days' notice after they took my annual pre-payment of $800 they don't refund you anything, and their online portal doesn't work couldn't log in for months so we had no idea when our subscription was due, very poor service be aware.

I just got off the phone with their customer service team and all I can say is Wow! A lot of these companies nowadays promise a positive customer experience but GS1 actually delivers. Not only did their CS Rep (I can’t believe I forgot his name!) get all of my questions answered, but he took the time to make sure I had a thorough understanding of the different products they offered. And not in a sales-y way either! He gave very honest answers and recommendations, even steering me away from something he didn’t think was right for me based on the size of my business. A truly wonderful experience! I cannot recommend them enough!

Looks like a really great system, but a week after paying $640 for an annual membership, I still don't have account login details. Instead I have the name of an employee we had a year ago, and have been directed to use their name and to create a new password, despite filling in an application form for a whole new account and naming myself as the main contact. I have emailed and phone multiple people in customer service and account management to no avail. Hopefully their IT department resolve soon. Production in China is on hold until we can get a new barcode. We need 600 all together. It's a shame we're not a priority.

Helpful for students to study supply chain. Next time ask them about the responsibility to create a transparent supply chain with such a monopoly business. With great power comes great responsibility, instead of charging 800$ annually for a global gs1 barcode. The company and customers deserve more than that with the ability to track the origin of the products.

I would have expected a company like GS1 to be difficult to deal with. I was very wrong, they've been amazing. Huge shout out to Lambrini who helped me through the GS1 report process – she's an absolute legend!
