When we first booked at the Mantra Lorne, we didn't know much about the property. However, it was a wonderful experience inside and out. It has an old world charm that is undeniable and for us had almost a nostalgic feel to it - like a place of warmth and heart that has been tended for decades. The property is lovely and the natural beauty is pristine. It's also located right on the water which was a surprise underneath a beautiful moon. The food and dining area was also wonderful. Overall, a magical retreat. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Mantra Lorne with my husband for a quick weekend getaway towards the end of summer. The location of the hotel is just great, two steps away from both the beach and the main shopping strip of the town. The hotel is spacious, looked well maintained, with various facilities. We stayed in Kipling house in a one bedroom apartment with garden view, overlooking the tennis courts and the whole premises with the sea also visible from the upper floor. Allocated parking lot right at the entrance. The apartment was well equipped, perfectly suitable for a longer self-catering stay, furniture however really old, but it wasn’t disturbing since we stayed two nights only. Comfortable bed, tv in both bedroom and living room, fully equipped kitchen, iron, hairdryer etc. The bathroom however could use a touch up, nobody ever uses these old jacuzzi baths, especially not in a hotel. Perfect source of all kinds of infections if not maintained properly…. Dining area at the Larder was also spacious enough, breakfast was an average quality continental breakfast, nothing special. Didn’t try the dinner options.

We had a wonderful short stay at Mantra in Lorne. The location is fantastic, right by the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing visit. The resort's facilities, including the pool and gardens, were well-maintained and added to the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a great spot for a quick getaway—would definitely stay again!

It’s my second time staying at the Mantra Lorne, and both times have been a fantastic experience. The staff are great, very friendly, accomodating, and helpful. We stayed both times in a Garden Resort Room and the room has been great. Comfortable bed, aircon, beautifully light-filled, a fantastic space to spend your getaway in. It really feels like a home away from home. We have also had dinner at the restaurant which is great, and have enjoyed happy hour drinks too. There’s a lot of activity spaces too which is fun. Including an indoor pool (which I haven’t had a chance to try yet) and 4 tennis courts (2 grass and 2 artificial grass) which we had a great time playing on during this trip. Overall highly recommended and can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you!

The one bedroom apartment booked was spacious, clean and centrally located across from the ocean and shops/restaurants near by. Views of the ocean and sunrise from our balcony was a glorious sight! Staff are attentive and very welcoming. A coffee pod machine in room would be appreciated by guests :)
