Went to the MCG for a footy game – Melbourne vs Sydney Swans – and it was an amazing experience. The crowd was incredible and the atmosphere was electric. You could really feel the energy from the fans. Everything from the view to the vibe made for a great night.

An incredible stadium with great atmosphere. We visit most weeks for sporting events. Easy access via public transport- 75/48/70 trams and metro. Make sure to download your tickets to your phone wallet for quick entry. Lots of food and coffee outlets. MCG store is worth a visit. Sports museum tour is on my list of things to do. Prayer room located basement level M13

Having been a cricket player and aficionado, the MCG had long been a destination on my bucket list. On 17th April 25, I had the opportunity to visit. The MCG tour experience has left an indelible mark on my memory. The tour encompassed the players' room, recovery room, dressing cabins, umpire room, and photo gallery. I took great pride in seeing our cricketers' names on the Hall of Fame wall. The display of bats dating back to 1835 was fascinating. The presence of photographs featuring Gavaskar and Tendulkar was a source of pride. Taking photos while standing on the boundary line was a thrilling experience. My gratitude goes to K and T for organizing this trip. 🏏📸👏💕

I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend a Big Bash League (BBL) match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and it was an absolutely electric experience. The atmosphere was absolutely vibrant – the energy was contagious! The crowd was incredibly engaged, with people raising their hands in unison to create massive waves that swept through the stands. It was a truly unique and exhilarating sight. The seating was comfortable and offered excellent views of the pitch. I was impressed by how clean the stadium was, considering the large crowds. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the entire experience very enjoyable. Overall, my visit to the MCG was unforgettable. It's a truly iconic venue that I would highly recommend to any sports fan visiting Melbourne.

One of Melbourne's many great sporting stadiums, and the largest of them all. Easy walk from train stations (Richmond and jolimont stations). For large events I'd recommend going early, as entry can take a while due to security checks
