Bed was atrocious, I had to turn the bed around so I would not sink into it. The service was great, That's what saved my stay. The food was really tasty. The pool needs a good clean and maintenance.

Stayed here for one night on the $1000 luxury package. Waste of money. Hotel is tired and needs a refurbishment. Rooms are dreadful - no modem facilities and need lights on to charge phones. Odd steel sink in the bathroom that looked dirty. Staff are miserable and the food at Joseph’s was dire. Contacted senior management about my experience - two week and no response. They really don’t care about customer experience. They are pretty much a wedding venue and so it doesn’t matter if they are rubbish as they aren’t expecting repeat service. It’s about time the star rating in Australia is reviewed … how this place can rate itself 5 star and charge exorbitant fees whilst in need of repair ranging forms rooms, food, pool and spa. $1000 for a night stay got me a car park view room because apparently “that’s what I paid for”…

Disappointed with the room, bathroom was unclean, remote had to be fix and coffee machine didn’t work properly. Breakfast was buffet and the food was dried and rubbery. For the money paid I was expecting a lot better. Service was excellent and staff friendly. Not a 5 star experience.

Sadly disappointing. Room was adequate but nothing special, particularly for the price. Grounds and surroundings were excellent and close to zoo, and facilities. The Joseph's restaurant was the lowlight. My steak was beautifully cooked, but covered in so much salt that that was the only flavour. And the tiramisu tasted strongly of almond essence. Unexpected and quite unpleasant. The buffet breakfast in the morning was just ok. Rubbery scrambled eggs, overcooked bacon, but a good selection. The highlight was the service though. Lovely people working hard to make it an overall good experience, if you ignore the cost.

A very disappointing stay over March long weekend- Road condition to the Mansion is appalling - unsealed ,dusty and poorly maintained. We had four family members accommodated and on check out, two out of the four had incorrect charges Whilst the staff in the main, were helpful, they lacked understanding of booking system and appeared to be poorly trained. The food was ordinary for the price and just did not live up to the standard expected in such a wonderful property Cleanliness was also lacking in most areas - not up to the standard expected for this establishment Overall - extremely disappointing and could not be recommended
