Beautiful hotel, but rock hard beds. The hotel is nice and new. The pool is heated and awesome. The breakfast buffet is the basic minimum with no extras such as no smoked salmon, not avocado. The hotel has a tiny game room for kids, a pinball machine, an electronic pin ball machine that I couldn’t work out how to play, and a skill testers that is so loose that no one will ever win. Service is non existent. You can book in via computer, but the computer doesn’t tell you what time breakfast is open, where the pool is etc. you can QR order your breakfast eggs, again not providing personal service. We couldn’t get the QR ordering to work, it came up with an error. The dirty plates were not cleaned away fast enough. Food ran out from the buffet and the toast machine either undercooks or burns the toast if put in twice. If you like a soft bed, do not book here. The person who picked these beds should be fired.

Modern and clean hotel in a great central location. Rooms are quite spacious and clean which made for a pleasant stay. The only downsides I experienced were a strange foul-smelling odour in the lobby area on both days, having to pay a $100 deposit (what's wrong with just keeping a credit card on file like many other hotels?) and the pool area being very busy. Besides this, its decent value for CBD accommodation.

Stayed at Dorsett for our one day layover in Melbourne and we had a really pleasant experience. From giving us early checkin to leaving a hand written greeting card, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The location is great if someone wants to explore the major sights walking, else the tram stations are also close by. The breakfast buffet had both hot and cold meals . The only point of improvement would be the cleanliness of the guest bathrooms by the reception. They had an awful smell and the floors were extremely dirty. Overall it was a great experience and would def recommend!

A lovely clean hotel in the heart of the city. The location is superb, and the effort in the presentation doesn't go unnoticed. Friendly staff, well appointed rooms that are kept immaculate (we stayed 3 nights) lovely buffet breakfast offered also. (Almost needs its own reviews and would be a 5 star!) Quite hotel with very little guest disturbances. Some wonderful restaurants around the hotel too.

I recently visited for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. MinYoung and Jeffrey at reception were incredibly welcoming, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The hotel’s design is cozy and inviting, with a warm and comfortable atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxed morning. The location is also a major plus as it is conveniently situated and easy to access. A great spot to start your day, whether you are a guest or just dropping by for breakfast like myself. Highly recommended!
