We stayed in an apartment for two nights the day we arrived to Australia. We did appreciate the luggage hold, as we arrived at 7am but check in wasn’t until 2pm, so we had to wander for the day (with three small kids after a 16 hour flight). To be quite honest, we were very underwhelmed with everything. The website photos and the information provided by our travel agent did not match what we found in person. The “two bedroom apartment” was really a one bedroom. The main entry door entered into a room with two twin beds, followed by a small galley kitchen, a small living area and bathroom; and finally a bedroom. We had requested a portable crib however it was not provided, instead we received a cot which would not work for our little one. My husband ended up having to sleep on the cot (in the living room) and I took our youngest in the bedroom, and our two other children stayed in the first room. I was extremely nervous having two small kids in a room right off of the hallway, as one of them is autistic and I was concerned she would let herself out. Fortunately it didn’t happen but the stress about the potential was awful. So the two bedrooms really was just one bedroom. The elevators were slightly frustrating as you had to ride one up one floor, and switch to another down a long hallway/ramp to access the rooms. No bin/rubbish bags were provided and I was told they didn’t have any when asking for one (for our bathroom trash). After returning from a long day adventure, we were looking forward to cooking dinner but were surprised to find the stove top not working. We had to go to the desk, and the man came up and had to manually light it with a lighter. To sum it all up, the location was nice for public transportation and the staff were polite, but we were pretty disappointed overall in the rest of the hotel versus the price we paid. Oh, and laundry was $5.00 to wash and another $5.00 to dry so cross your fingers you don’t have air-sick children and need to do heaps of laundry to clean everything up like we did.

Carpark at the hotel was really tight and the exit door was broken, so we had to get assistance from the staff to get out. The lift made a weird squeaking noise, and the room felt old and a bit dirty—needs more attention to detail. However, the staff were helpful, lent us a pen, and allowed a late checkout.

Great location nice well-appointed room and clean. Plumbing is noisy. View was of a back alley but that meant I didn't have all the street noise. Public transport is close at hand and was easy to move about the city.

Great location right by Southern Cross Railway Station, very helpful staff, I lost my rucksack and the reception staff were so helpful. Clean rooms albeit mine was a little small, but bathroom was a good size. Friendly service in the restaurant and reasonably priced.

The room was impeccably clean, and the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, particularly Izza. Her efforts ensured a most comfortable stay, and we felt truly valued as guests. Highly recommended!
