My friend wanted to treat me for my one in four year birthday & Collins Coffee House had gluten free option which was perfect as my friend is a coeliac. The venue itself is stunning & the staff were welcoming & friendly. The actual high tea itself is served on two layered serving stand & every morsel was delicious & perfect serving size. We both devoured our treats. Unlimited supply of tea & coffee. Highly recommend this venue for their treats, friendly service & reasonably priced as well.

We arrived for a birthday/wedding anniversary celebration and had the "Traditional High Tea" sitting. From the moment we walked into Collins Coffee House, our awe of the decor and furnishings didn't stop there. The interior ambience, attention to detail, the food....oh my, each delicious and tasty morsel, was hand crafted to perfection. With every bite and every sip, each flavour combination, they complimented one another so well. We all felt very welcomed ; thoroughly enjoyed and loved our time at Collins Coffee House, and can't wait to come back again.

Beautiful setting in a traditional building that was once a bank. The service was perfect and the pastries a treat. I was able to exchange my Prosecco for a non alcoholic drink. The bread on the sandwiches was a little dry, but overall it was a great high tea.

A delicious high tea - in spite of there being a large group in one area our table of three was not “neglected” and was treated to excellent and attentive service. The food was superb and plenty of it. Highly recommend - this must be the best High Tea experience in Melbourne and it’s great to support a family business.

Tried this place as they were part of the list of places to go for afternoon tea. Overall experience was excellent. Loved the ambiance which takes you back to the Victorian era. They sat me in a nice cozy area. As a single diner, the staffs didn’t make me feel left out, they always came to check on me and my thoughts about the food, always asking me if I need anything and all that without being intrusive. All in all a pretty good place if you wanna enjoy a nice afternoon tea by yourself or a friend or two.
