Decent dishes with reasonable price, the mushroom risotto was cooked to perfection and generous amount of oyster mushrooms! The grilled swordfish with eggplants was absolutely beautiful too 🤌🏻 Will definitely dine in more often in the future! 😍

The menu was off-putting because of the range - can they do all that well? But look at this beautiful Neapolitan-style pizza. This 'Piccante' pizza tasted as good as it looks. Keen to sit down and try more.

Great atmosphere. All the entrees were fantastic. We had the Mac & cheese croquettes, heirloom tomatoes and proscuitto di Parma. For the mains we had the lamb backstrap and the sword fish both of which presented well. The accompaniments with both mains were lovely, unfortunately both proteins were dry. Hoping the kitchen was just having an off day mains wise. The staff were great ☺️

I haven't had a bad meal at Dawson, they're great for brunch, lunch or dinner. I like their pizzas and the Mac and cheese entree was small but crunchy in the most perfect way. I have to say the creativity of their desserts was sad to see gone on my last visit. Also while I will go there again without doubt, I doubt I will go for the pasta as my companion was not full at all after their Cacio E Pepe. I would also suggest a more refined and subtle Sticky Date Pudding topping could make it more enjoyable, I found it too sweet and I usually like reviewing desserts the most. The other options didn't sound very interesting, but. maybe I'll give them a go. Service was attentive and helpful and good at their roles even the really young staff did very well.

We had our wedding reception here in March 2023 with 90 guests. We had had some coffee dates here earlier in our relationship so knew it was a great spot, and wanted to celebrate in a central location that was a part our story together. Jess (Manager) and team did an amazing job during our event planning and on the night as well. They were flexible as our plans evolved and ran things super smoothly so we could focus on enjoying ourselves. Our guests were really impressed with how professional and friendly all of the wait staff were, and with the quality of the food too. The tomato / mozzarella salad and the T-bone steak were particular favourites. We're very confident recommending Dawson to other groups, for smaller brunch / dinner affairs or for your own events.
