Headed down to the Nixon for a steak night special and found it alright . I ordered a medium rare rump steak 400 g $35 and felt like I got a more medium to well done steak. The steak was a bit pink ish at one small point but the consistency was more well done and a bit chewy. For flavour the steak was pretty tasteless unless u drenched the sauce on, all in all for a good protein grab the $35 was decent considering how much meat u get. Salad and chips were good. Bloke asked me for ID even though I wasn’t drinking and dining alone?. Mushroom sauce was pretty peppier with more of a gravy texture than a creamy mushroom.

Even though the food tasted good, there was no flexibility about adjustments to what we ordered. For example, replacing chips with the cauliflower. They said they can take out the chips, but You have to still pay for the cauliflower, which doesn't make sense to me. So this Inflexibility was off-putting and would be the reason I don't come here again. In this day and age where people are on diets and have dietary requirements, you would hope that there would be a bit more flexibility like that.

Dinner out after a long day. The venue is clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The service is excellent. The food was excellent, and reasonably priced. I had the Barramundi which was delicious and perfectly cooked. My guest enjoyed his gnocchi. Extremely pleased with our choice of eatery tonight. Gold star experience in every respect!

Visited here due to their $25 steak night being on Mondays. great value for the steak which includes a sauce, chips and salad. not too much parking as it is in Docklands, but you might be lucky to find a spot going in after 6pm. 17 different beers on tap, and they do a standard pub menu. Lots of space outdoors and indoors, trivia nights. and there an app where you can download and sign up for a free drink/ wine. Nestled in the heart Docklands, Nixon is your local pub in the Docklands with all your sporting needs, and a short walk from Marvel Stadium!

Just around the corner from the Southcentral station in Melbourne is this delightful sports bar. Lovely place to have a beer and chicken wings.
