Exceptional ❤️ From arrival (complimentary drinks) to check in , explained all facilities of the hotel. Venue & location is just fantastic. Service is excellent . Room service! Bar well stocked. The room was amazing. Californian king size bed, bathroom/shower fantastic. Roof top area. We’ve stayed in lots of hotels through leisure as well as work (airline staff) and I highly recommend this hotel & I have. Exceptional value for money. I don’t know how they do it!! Well done. Cannot wait to visit your Hotel again.

I recently stayed at the Lancemore Hotel in CROSSLEY street Melbourne and, while the front-of-house staff provided lovely service, my overall experience left much to be desired. Unfortunately, there were issues during my stay that I promptly raised with the staff and management. Based around housekeeping issues and safety concerns with the bathroom, as well as noise levels on my last night’s stay from the room above. While I was assured that management would get back to me, I never received a response despite following up via email and text to the dedicated number they provided. The lack of communication and follow-through was particularly frustrating, especially given the inconvenience caused during my stay. It’s disappointing when guests are assured their concerns will be addressed but are then met with silence. What adds to the frustration is the seemingly generic responses the hotel provides to negative reviews, which can feel dismissive rather than genuine. It raises the question of whether feedback is truly valued or simply managed for appearances. That said, I do want to acknowledge the efforts of the front-of-house staff, who were courteous and professional throughout. It’s clear they’re trying their best to create a positive experience for guests. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback and that the hotel takes more proactive steps to address concerns raised by its customers in the future.

A boutique hotel near China town offers lots of convenience. The room we stayed was great except beware of kids showering because the water was too hot to burn your skin and you needed to adjust (fine tune) the taps. An amazing experience was that they offered free happy hour from 17:00 - 18:00. Lisa, the customer service staff was fantastic - she is proactive and always willing to help. There is a rooftop terrace too.

A fabulous boutique motel with a perfect location in the theatre district. Staff were warm and friendly, the hosted hour was a lovely surprise. The room was lovely, very clean and quiet. We could not fault anything. Will definitely be staying again.

I see why this place has such a high rating. Reasons we would stay here again: - One of the best locations away from the madness of the train stations but near tons of the best restaurants and coffee shops in downtown - Nicely designed and well appointed rooms with Apple TVs, comfortable beds with customizable pillow options - In my experience, definitely super helpful staff. I’m sure this can vary over time but at the time of my review here, every single person greeting us here made us feel very welcomed which is certainly not always the case at a lot of hotels these days - Overall pretty new feeling building (with a rooftop dining / lounge space that was not used much as we were only ppl up there whenever we checked it. Things to watch out for: - The surrounding neighborhood is pretty active most nights of the week so if you’re room is along the front side of the hotel, there will be some level of noise especially when you turn the AC off. If you are a light sleeper, it would be a good call to request a room not at the front of the hotel and/or keep your AC running. The AC fan does a great job of drowning out most sounds though so not really and issue. And don’t worry…if you don’t want your room too dry from the AC they said they do offer humidifiers if requested. - If you log into the Apple TV make sure to log out of the Apple TV your last day as the person before us accidentally stayed logged in. We logged them out but it appears the hotel staff doesn’t do that for you (and I wouldn’t expect them to). - Walking into the elevators and some areas walking into the hotel have small floor trip hazards due to unmarked floor or carpet leveling changes so just something to watch out for if you are of the more clumsy or less stable types. - Don’t go too crazy on the coffee in one sitting as one coffee is included in breakfast but after that they are at typical coffee shop prices. - Parking in this part of town is pretty rough so would definitely avoid that at all costs. We took the train like most ppl and was super easy to get there. - For booking, check on their website directly as the non-refundable price we found on their website was significantly lower vs hotels.com and booking.com although the refundable rate was about the same
