Absolutely disgraceful treatment from the bouncers at The Osborne. Last night, my girlfriend was outside being sick, and I simply asked to take a small plastic cup of water out to her. A completely reasonable request, right? Not according to the power-tripping doormen, who flat-out refused with zero empathy or common sense. It wasn’t about rules or safety—it was about them exerting authority for no good reason. When I explained the situation, they doubled down, showing a complete lack of basic human decency. What kind of establishment prioritizes a meaningless policy over the well-being of a customer in distress? It’s bad form, pure and simple. A late-night venue should employ staff who understand how to handle real-life situations with a shred of compassion. Instead, The Osborne hires bouncers who seem more interested in flexing their egos than ensuring patrons are safe and looked after. Avoid this place if you expect even the bare minimum of respect.

If you’re planning an event and looking for the perfect venue in South Yarra, The Osborne Hotel is a no-brainer. 👌🏼 We hosted The Big Connect at their Cocktail Lounge, and the experience was superb from start to finish. Ryan and Freddy made coordination an absolute breeze—stress-free, seamless, and accommodating. Communication was spot on. Event management was next level. The whole team was an absolute dream to work with! 🔥 And the feedback from our guests? Top-notch. Everything was on point, from the service to the food and drinks to the venue's vibe. We couldn’t have asked for a better space to bring together our community. Safe to say, we’ll be back for future events—bigger and better!

Came in early evening for dinner and I have to say the Sunday roast was magnificent. Definitely great value for money, good quality and very tasty. The only suggestion I would make is to have the gravy on the side, as there was a lot of gravy that ended up making the pork crackling go soft. I'll definitely be asking for it on the side next time. Wait staff level of service was very good and quite friendly. Drinks were at reasonable prices. The only downside was the usual credit card surcharge which most venues seem to think it's ok to charge. At least you still get the option to pay cash and save.

We held our end of year Christmas drinks and dinner here and it surpassed our expectations. Food and service was exceptional and Ryan who helped us organise the evening was superb. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars to the "Atmosphere" rating was that it was a tad loud, so if you're planning speeches etc, you may want to consider this. Overall, Excellent.
