Reviews for RACV Goldfields Resort

Loved the whole experience, location, golf, walking & dinning. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 star, was because the gym was out of action. And we were not told, until after we arrived. Also the wines were a bit expensive, however the breakfast choices were excellent and the dinner meal was fantastic. Please congratulate your team for giving friendly customer service.

This resort is tucked away out of the main drag in Creswick. It’s a great place to stay if you enjoy walks and nature. Fabulous for golfers, as there is a golf course on the property. The resort was beautifully clean and decorated for Christmas.

Very hard to fault RACV Goldfields. Staff were friendly, attentive, interested and cheerful. Food was excellent and the room, bed and bathroom was 5 star. Value for money was excellent. My only gripe related to car parking. Cars had to be parked some distance away and there was no under-cover parking.

Came here for a few days getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was in a nice quiet place where you could relax and enjoy life. I had the buffet breakfast and the food was simply amazing and worth every penny. The classic eggs, bacon, etc, fruit, bagels, avocado, cheese. Coffee and juices were available at breakfast including some morning tea items. I would definately come here again. The pool was great, but rather cold as it was outdoors. I enjoyed the spa.

I have been a regular customer at the springs bar & terrace for the last two years. To have a guess maybe 70-80 visits dining there. I live within the grounds of the resort. Percy & Cheetah at the bar are absolutely amazing. But whilst dining there tonight with my kids (approx 6:30 pm 24th November) they decided to quietly play in the kids fun room. Now, they are both over 5 years of age(play room age rules). But were playing by themselves and being very well behaved. Unfortunately, the lady at the main reception (wearing glasses maybe 40s-50s) decided she needed to tell them off and ejected them from the playing room. My kids 7 & 11 came to me crying. Not sure what she said. They didn’t want to tell me. I’m sorry RACV but as an RACV member for the last 25+ years, I will never set foot in the bistro or three founders restaurant again. To think RACV promote themselves as a family friendly accommodation but hire unfriendly and hostile people like that at front of house is very concerning.
