Perfect location. Just across the Southern Cross Station where the skybus terminal is located. so from the terminal, no hassle about walking with your luggage. there’s also a tram in front so very centre to many attractions yet still quiet enough that you enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. Love their buffet breakfast, good choices from hot food, fruits, pastries and bread. rooms are clean with nice smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Highly recommended.!

Absolute disgrace by management in handling their issues. Checked into my room and I couldn't get the room heating going so I spoke to management. Apparently the hotel heating hasn't worked for days and looks like it won't get fixed anytime soon either. I asked why this wasn't communicated to guest when checking in - all I got was a blank stare from the hotel manager. I checked out and checked into The Dorsett up the road where the service was excellent & the rooms much nicer. Due to their incompetent at The Savoy I now had to pay an extra $125 for our stay.

I had the wonderful stay at The Savoy Hotel this past weekend. The staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, and even put a little cup of soy milk in the fridge for me to enjoy the use of the coffee machine in the room. I had an internally facing room with the window looking into the indoor atrium space, which was incredibly peaceful and quiet. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in, and the decor was really lovely. Such a good location, I stepped off the Skybus and walked just 3 mins to the hotel. Easy access to trams and trains at your doorstep. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I just returned from a quick 2 days in Melbourne. We started at the Savoy and we were glad we did. Lovely quaint hotel, more than enough sized rooms, clean facilities and friendly staff. A standout was Gerald on the ground floor bar/restaurant, friendly, helpful and a delight all round. We had dinner on the last night in that restaurant and it was fantastic. We will be back again for sure. Thankyou

We never experienced this kind of gesture from any other hotel. Usually they denied to help their customers with their luggage. But in savoy the gentleman who look after luggage department, he help us a lot that no one can imagine. He is true gentleman and very kind hearted person we ever met at hotel industry.
