Great service from start to finish. The first rink was quite rough when we started on it, they shut it down to smooth out the ice and opened up the second rink. Very smooth. I fell and immediately staff was there, saw other people fall and again immediately staff were there. There’s also trainers who volunteer their time and information to help you learn to skate. Absolutely fantastic experience!

Went here with my 3 kids 8,6&4. Using small ideas (saved 20%) it cost me $70 something to get in. Included skate hire. The service was impeccable and couldn’t fault them. The place was fine no complaints. Only down fall was the pricing. We hired an “animal helper” and it was $8 each. I found the day a tad expensive once we paid for entry, food, parking and skating aids. Still a good day and will definitely be back. Big bosses. Please thank the staff for me. They were awesome and very patient with my son whom struggled getting the right size

Was fun! Paid $26 (had my own skates) for all day access. Skated for about 3 hours before I was thoroughly exhausted and called it a day. Went on a Friday morning so the Ice felt so fresh and nice. Wasn't crowded at this time. There were two ice rinks but only 1 was open for figure skating practice. The other was initially used for ice hockey practice and then closed off. They sold food as well. Didn't eat there as I wasn't enticed by the options, but including a photo for anyone interested in the menu

We had a wonderful time there! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Especially the bloke in the photo I added. He made my daughter and nephews days by taking them on a super fast spin around the ice each! They squealed with delight the whole time. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name, but thank-you!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I normally avoid these types of posts like the plague, but enough is enough, I can no longer bite my tongue. Today (22/12/23), I used the facilities in change room 4 of the rink, and to say I am disgusted is an understatement. In my time in change room 4, I came across the following unacceptable and dangerous hazards; • Mix of dried blood/oral fluid on the soap dispenser. • Dried blood spatter on the walls to the left and right of the sink. • Thick/dark amounts of mould between the sink and wall. • Flies swarming around in the showers and toilets. • Dead insects in huge volumes stuck in spider webs surrounding light fixtures. • The strong smell of mould and stale urine in showers. When was the last time these facilities were cleaned? When were they actually disinfected? When did a manager last inspect the rooms and oversee the level of cleaning that I dare say is not actually occurring? OBGA is supposed to be a world-class facility. I wonder what those from around the world would think of our rink? Adults, children, the elderly and those with disabilities use these rooms almost every day. Not one person from those groups deserves to be surrounded by filth and dangerous bodily fluids! I would like to say these issues are recent, they are not. Despite my images being dated 22/12/23, all of the above has been present for months now. Months! Clearly, this is a two pronged issue. The cleaning staff are not doing their job properly or aren't provided with the right equipment to disinfect the facilities. Or, rink staff simply aren't following the proper procedure to oversee/ensure the cleanliness of facilities is at an Australian standard. People being paid to do a job are just not doing their job properly. So here is your chance, OBGA. Pick up your game. Or my photos, notes, and statement will find its way to the Department of Health and WorkSafe. You have state and federal legislative requirements to fulfil regarding the cleanliness of your facilities for both patrons and staff, and you are falling way short.
