Even though it is now a private estate, we phoned to see if we could buy some wines, and Michelle answered on her second day. She wasn’t sure what was allowed, but said come on up and we’ll sort you out…and worry what the boss might say later! The wine selection and quality was fantastic, and we had to drop in a couple of days later to buy some more of their ‘Lush’ - it was so tasty!

From the moment we got engaged there, with the staff playing along with the cover story to ensure it was a complete surprise, Feathertop became part of our love story. Returning to Bright for a wedding tour, we immediately knew this was our special place—there truly was no better venue to continue our journey together. One of our favourite moments was standing on the balcony at the end of the night, watching everyone leave and soaking in the pride we felt for how beautifully it all came together. This was my first stay at Feathertop despite having been a Summit Cru wine club member for many years. The transition to a Private Estate and events venue meant that we could enjoy a very personalised tasting on the terrace, and on other days, just sitting and relaxing after a days riding the rail trail, out would come Janelle and the other staff saying something like 'I thought you might like a glass of Prosecco Rose', off course we would. The Peggy Adelaide suite had everything we could want, big comfortable bed, and the many complimentary food and drink items were an added bonus. The luxury outdoor bath was a special pamper, and the view out to the vineyard each morning was delightful. Will definitely be staying again.
