This is a great hotel that is just around the corner from the aquarium and a half block away from southern cross station. The rooms are super spacious with floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows. The showers are huge. What makes this hotel great are what's beyond the room...namely the restaurant and the pool. The food at the restaurant is stellar, very flavorful, and portion size tends to be on the larger side of things. I can't say enough good things about the food, staff, and how it all comes together. The pool space is like no other in the city. Although there is no hot tub, the pool temperature is kept warm. Sitting around the pool in low light on one of the lounge mats is completely relaxing. On weekends, they have a huge TV in the pool area for playing movies for kids, which is a nice touch.

Front desk staffs was super friendly and efficient. We felt the warm welcome upon checking-in. That’s very important. Clean, thoughtful and spacious room. Quality furnishing and nice interior. The restaurant located at level 25 - Langlands - food, service staffs and wine selection was superb. Amazing view too. Centrally located to everywhere. Trains, shopping and restaurants. Our definite choice of hotel for Melbourne city.

This hotel is modern, new and fresh. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Check-in and check out process was easy, and even though there was a cue of people to check out, the staff did this quickly and efficiently. I didn't get to use the pool or gym facilities, but I did check them out, and I hope to stay again and get to use them. The rooms are spacious and everything you need.

Was fortunate enough to book her for a short stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities. Level 25 restaurant is underrated with a great view. Really convenient location. Staff were great, highly recommend. Will return.

Upscale, boutique hotel marketed as a 5-star hotel close to Southern Cross Station. Staff are friendly and quick to respond to any requests or questions. Stayed in a standard twin room at a reasonable rate due to booking early. Despite being close to Southern Cross, its notable that the hotel is located in an small side street of Flinders Lane which is quite dark at night when walking. Rooms are on the larger side compared to other nearby hotels. A fresh, modern feel is seen in the room's design with touches such as the mood lighting behind the TV. The room had a large TV, as well as a small table and chair. Two twin beds were large and comfortable and the lighting controls beside the bed were a nice touch. Room could do with a few improvements. 1. The bed cover had a large visible stain. 2. No cutlery was in the room to eat takeout, as well as no teaspoons etc for tea and coffee. 3. There was no rubbish bin in the room for takeout and general waste. 4. Table only had one chair which made it hard to eat with two people. Also, the bathroom could do with some improvements. 1. No rainfall showerhead which I've seen at other 5-star Melbourne hotels marketed at a similar price point. 2. Poor lighting with only one lamp mounted on the mirror and a single, dimmed spotlight on the ceiling. 3. Bathroom's dark-coloured tiling on the walls and floor with the dimmed lighting made it dark. 4. No proper door; only a sliding door which left a gap at the end of it, also noting that there is no lock. Other facilities such as the pool and lounge area were nice, however we only used them once. Overall, a nice hotel with areas for improvement but otherwise a pleasant stay. When coming to Melbourne again, would stay elsewhere due to this experience and how it compares to other hotels we've previously stayed at.
