Great pub with ample space both indoors and outdoors. They offer a dedicated room with its own bar upstairs for events. There are plenty of screens available for watching live sports events. Their dishes are generous, delicious, and well-presented. I particularly enjoy their deconstructed Caesar salad. The chips are crispy and delightful. The staff is extremely friendly, and the service is prompt.

$20 Meals on a Monday, great value. Chicken schnitzel was quite big. Staff were friendly. Small amount of inside seating at the restaurant. Lots of bar and outside seating.

Stepping into The Golden Gate Hotel is like a warm embrace from an old friend you haven't seen in years. The spacious venue exudes a retro-chic charm that feels both inviting and familiar, ensuring a relaxed yet vibrant dining experience that's hard to match. Our culinary adventure began with the crispiest halloumi and tantalizing buffalo wings, perfect starters that set a high bar for what was to come. The salt & pepper calamari followed suit, cooked to tender perfection and proving to be a favorite at the table. The Tassie Summer Spritz Jug was a refreshing centerpiece to our meal, its effervescence perfectly complementing the robust flavors of our dishes. And speaking of perfect pairings, the Jack Daniel's mixes—both cola and dry—added that spirited kick that only good whiskey can. For the main course, the seafood linguine was a sumptuous feast from the deep, while the crispy chicken Caesar salad provided a crunchy, savory counterpoint that completed our meal with a flourish. To top off the delightful dining experience, The Golden Gate Hotel had an awesome promotion running: with the purchase of any Jack Daniel's beverage, you received a scratch card to win some fantastic Jack Daniels merchandise. We got lucky and won some cool gear, which was the cherry on top of an already splendid evening. Sunday Roast was delicious. Great value and the addition of the unlimited drink package was great. The selection of wines was excellent too. Atmosphere is comfortable and Ash offered exceptional customer service!

Stopped by for a lunch as the market was overcrowded. The chicken schnitzel was well cooked - not overly thick crumbed and still moist; fries, salad and schnitzel ratio was good. Calamari was also well cooked. Good selection of tap beer.
