Cool design but not much atmosphere. Food was good especially the starters but the sauce on the gnocchi tasted a bit like mayonnaise. The gnocchi itself and the kale was really good.

Parma tasted like it had been cooked much earlier and then reheated for service. Chicken itself was dry, stringy and a bit tough which was disappointing for a Parma special of $22. Service was fantastic and the vibe is decent.

We came to Prahran hotel for dinner on a Tuesday night for the Parma and steak night...also its a special occassion for my wife's birthday...Not the first time here but last visit was many years ago...the food was good and the ambience was fine...the chicken parma was a little tough and a bit dry compared to other pubs...overall staff were friendly...got $10 off from the Pass app...overall a very good deal...

When we arrived it took 10 minutes for them to seat us despite it being empty and they treated us like we were trying to steal a booking despite confirming the name multiple times. Then the manager FORGOT to seat us after convincing us to buy our beer at the bar first despite not needing to do that at all. I found the service stand-offish. Now the food. The steak was ordered as rare and came our medium-well done. The pasta that came with meatballs were cooked and cold on the inside... what does that tell you? It tells you it was reheated....but clearly not enough. That poses a health hazard. Even the pasta tasted doughy and it was stuck together in clumps. I hope the venue can take this feedback and take action to improve the service and food quality. They must rely on bar sales over the weekend, otherwise I don't know how they compete with the other fantastic restaurants in the area.

Gorgeous hotel. Great atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and attentive. The round booths are cosy and comfortable. Big hearty sized pub meals, at reasonable prices. I love this place. A++++
