Went with my friend my first time. We were not dressed casual but not fancy. The security let me in but not my friend which is understandable. That’s the rules. But for our surprise!! I took a look to the people that was around and they were dressing very casual. Also the security asked my friend’s ID before telling him he was dressing too casual. Zero professionalism! I am Spanish and travel around the world, lived in different countries and It is the first time in long time that I can see an act RACISIM. My friend is from Brazil and he showed his ID, he was told he couldn’t get in because he was dressing casual. Just be aware Brazilian people!!

I visited on a Friday night and the place exceeded my expectation 😳 Each floor has a different vibe so you can mixed it up - club dancing, salsa, tango, bachata. I didn't know how to salsa or tango properly but joined anyway 😆 Make sure you don't drive under influence. There are police specifically checking people coming from the Albion after party.

Went last night with my partner and friend. My partner, friend and I were dressed smart casual / casual. No shirt or fancy shoes but not shorts and thongs. Appropriate dress standard for this establishment. My partner, she was let in first. But my self and our friend was not let in. My friend had his ID checked first (giving the impression we would be let in) to then only be told we were not allowed in because we were not dressed appropriately AFTER checking his ID. The security guards / bouncer did not want to reason with us and talk even though we clearly pointed out we were dressed the same as other patrons and in some cases much much better It was clear to us that my Brazilian friend was denied because of his race / ethnicity AFTER checking his foreign ID and I was denied being associated with him as they didn’t even check my ID. Will never go back again, to be subjected to such discrimination and embarrassment from the security

Just expressing the awful experience I had with this place... I went to this place with my friend last night dressing casual, a good casual though. My friend was told she could get in and when it was my turn to go through, the guy at the door asked for my ID and after checking my details he said I wouldn't be able to keep going because I was dressing too casual. What should I wear in a hot Saturday night to go to a pub? A suit? Also, my friend and myself felt a bit discriminated by the fact he asked for an ID before denying my entry in the place. Why does he need to know where I come from first?? Whilst, we saw many people dressing less casual than myself, even wearing sandals, waiting to go in, and I don't think they were all stopped. I will never go back to this place and I'll be very happy giving it bad references when asked. Specially for Spanish and South American people. Thanks!
