I really enjoyed our stay here. The atmosphere and decor was so inviting and cosy. All staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The grounds are lovely to walk around. We stayed in a loft room and it was very comfortable. I took a star off my review for the following reasons: - The pool was lovely but not heated, so quite cold even on a hot day it would have been nice to be a bit warmer. - The plumbing is very noisy. When showering there was a constant squealing sound. Also heard it coming through the walls from another room. Our dinner and lunch at The Virgin Kitchen were outstanding. The waiters were friendly, chatty and attentive throughout the evening.

Spoke to several staff members on the phone over several different days about booking a gift voucher. One female staff member was unhelpful and disinterested, directing me instead to the website. One male staff member who I spoke to on two occasions was not just unhelpful but condescending, rude and unprofessional as well. Very disappointed as we have stayed here before and know the hotel is impressive - shame the customer service does not match.

Beautiful building and great service! Comfortable beds, spacious rooms all clean and well kept. Love the decor. It’s stunning, yet still cozy and inviting. Will definitely return.

Stayed mid week, Wednesday & Thursday. The views are spectacular, the food is delicious, the beds are like floating, the grounds are beautiful and hats off to all the staff, especially Darren for his top shelf customer service. Knew what I needed before I finished my question!

Amazing hotel with lovely staff. Stayed twice and most likely will again but it does have noisy plumbing at night. Nothing major but enough to hear, not keep you up. I love everything else.
