Beer was nice and cold. Wasn’t overly happy with the food I got. Chicken burger was dry and bland. Would have expected a few more chips for 30 dollars a meal..

Came for a pint, left with my belly filled. $25 steak special, perfectly cooked medium rare, French fries and pub salad. Yum. Hard to beat that price for the quality. Lovely staff too. Will most certainly come back.

came here for lunch on a nice sunny day. good atmosphere inside. but the mac and cheese was a big disappointment. It tasted bland, with the texture chunky.

The food was pretty nice. But the service was a bit shocking. We had had asked for another jig of water - never came, asked for a lemonade - never showed up, ordered for sides - never showed up. Not sure if it was coz they're short on staff, but it was kind of quiet on a Thur evening anyway. Anyway - points for the taste 👍🏽 had the chicken burger, was quite nice. The chicken was crumbed well and the coleslaw mix with sauce in it nicely complemented it.

We are only in Melbourne for one day and stopped by the Exchange hotel for lunch. We had a lovely long lunch and the food was good pub fare. Fresh and tasty. Our waiter - Marcus was extremely helpful, attentive and pleasant. Nothing was a problem and the menu recommendations were greatly appreciated. We recommend visiting the exchange for a nice pub atmosphere with great food and excellent staff.
