Located on 6,000 sqm, in the Port Melbourne industrial precinct, The site has been restored, remaining true to its heritage of second hand timber storage and fabrication. The Timber Yard is an urban sanctuary designed to bring the flavour and personality of the country into the city. We cater for all types of events including Corporate, Private, Expos, Markets, Weddings and Live music. Our in house AV team can also assist you to deliver complete end to end production services such as draping, staging, presentations, concerts and all your lighting requirements to elevate your event. You will have exclusive access to the venue for your event, inc. allocated bump in/ bump out

The place has a wide space, both for indoor and outdoor. And it is very clean and comfy. Its a perfect place for a wedding or events. We have a gig there for our client's wedding and it was an enjoyable night to play there. And the food is also surprisingly good.

Assembled at this location, we eagerly awaited the arrival of the renowned Indian singer, Lucky Ali, ready to immerse ourselves in an unforgettable experience. And indeed, it turned out to be a truly delightful encounter. Although it was the month of July in the year 2023, I couldn't help but feel that this pub would have been the perfect spot for a December gathering. The closed section of the establishment provided a sanctuary, shielding us from the biting winds that Melbourne is known for. It was a stroke of luck that this particular area of the pub was available, as it not only offered respite from the chilly weather but also served as a haven for those who had chosen this venue for their wedding celebrations. The ambiance of the pub was inviting, making it an ideal place to spend quality time with friends. The atmosphere was vibrant, with a sense of camaraderie permeating the air. Laughter and animated conversations filled the space, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. As the evening progressed, Lucky Ali took the stage, captivating us with his soulful voice and mesmerizing melodies. His performance was nothing short of magical, transporting us to a realm where music held the power to heal and unite. Each note he sang resonated deeply within our hearts, leaving an indelible mark on our souls. Leaving the pub that night, I couldn't help but reflect on the wonderful experience we had just shared. It was a testament to the power of music and the joy that can be found in the company of good friends. This gathering had truly been a memorable one, etching itself into our memories as a night filled with warmth, laughter, and the enchanting melodies of Lucky Ali.

Very expansive venue managed by a highly efficient crew, with the prowess to curate a sold out Charlotte de Witte event. Audio video production was peak global standard. The perfect industrial backdrop for headliners and supporting artists alike. Toilet situation could be improved. 5 stars for this specific event, 4 stars for the venue.

We recently had our work Christmas party at The Timber Yard. It's fair to say we were on an extremely tight budget. Charley, Diego and Lisa worked with us to create an afternoon within budget that everyone absolutely loved. The venue is fantastic. We were in "the yard" and being blessed with perfect weather, we were able to play games, mingle and enjoy the sunshine. I highly recommend the The Timber Yard and would definitely have a party there again.
