We recently visited the restaurant and ordered the roast of the day and pork belly. Unfortunately, the roast was partly tender and partly chewy, which was disappointing. The sauce tasted like it was out of a bag and lacked any real flavor. The pork ribs lacked sauce and the pork belly was dry. Both dishes were lacking in spice, On the plus side, the service was friendly and quick. The staff were attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed.

I'm always on the lookout for a great pub meal & this certainly met my expectations. It's great that there was a no fuss approach with the convenience of ordering drinks & meal via my smart phone at the table & service was efficient & quick. The gravy that accompanied the pie was a bonus. It's my first time & looking forward to visiting again to try something else.

Caleb and his team try very hard to give you a great night. If you live near the Vale hotel it should be your first choice. Prices are good, the food is very good. And the team is excellent.. Thanks for looking after us
