I recently dined at the Manhattan Buffet and, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I didn’t go in with high expectations, but I assumed the price point would reflect that. Charging $45 per person for what was on offer felt extremely excessive for the quality provided. The food lacked freshness, flavour and overall care. Many dishes were underwhelming, and some appeared as though they had been sitting out far too long. For that price, you expect a reasonable standard — not something that feels rushed and poorly executed. Service was equally disappointing. The staff made us feel more like part of a production line than valued guests. There was little engagement or attentiveness, which only added to the overall let-down. If you’re considering dining here, I would honestly suggest heading to the pub side and ordering something cooked to order instead. You may have a much better experience that way. Unfortunately, the buffet simply didn’t justify the cost.

We had a lovely dinner at the Manhattan Hotel the buffet food was yummy. We got there about 5.30 p.m. the lady behind the bar was on her own and we were going to buy a beer & wine my husband went up to the bar and she ignored him, as she was serving a table, she could have said I will be with you in a moment sir. So we ended up having a bottle water with our meal. Apart from that all good.

Not great. Had to get up to ask the bartender for my beer. The ticket was printed and waiting for someone to action. The coffee was served in a cup with no saucer, spoon, suger...etc. Sticky date pudding delayed. You're not that busy. What happened?

A great place for a meal with friends or groups of friends. Generous discount for seniors. The all you can eat smorgasbord, is unbelievable. With great seafod, roasts, salads, pasta, and deserts. Wine and beer selection go well with the great food.

what really made the night was Hayden and Luke. Bloody Legends. They went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after super friendly, quick with service, and genuinely made the whole experience fun. You can tell they actually care about customers having a great time. They handled the rush like pros and still managed to have a laugh with us.
