My partner and I spent a weekend getaway at Hotel Sorrento and were thoroughly impressed with both the service and the overall experience. Our room was stunning, and the hotel’s amenities like the pool and dining area were just as beautiful. The views are spectacular and the overall location was ideal as we could take a short walk into town, beach etc. Although we were informed about ongoing construction, we barely noticed any noise, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We came for dinner in the busiest night of the year. A host named “Queenie” was the most welcoming and friendly face. We didn’t have a booking but he helped us find a spot in the bar to wait while a table was organised. Then he came back to check on us at dinner. The food was fantastic, but it came in second place to how good the service was.

We loved our weekend stay at Hotel Sorrento. We stayed in an absolutely indulgent room with an enormous bathroom and amazing bay views. Our dinner in the dining room was divine . Quality food and presentation and great selection of wines to compliment our meals. The staff are so courteous, helpful and friendly. Whether at the bar, at dinner, breakfast or reception, we thought they were all amazing. Love the old charm feel of the hotel which seamlessly incorporates modern comforts, décor and amenities. Conveniently located within walking distance to everything beautiful Sorrento town by the sea has to offer.

Our recent stay at your hotel was certainly nowhere near the minimum expectations for rate that we were charged. Firstly, there was no communication to us prior to our stay that the hotel is virtually an entire construction site. Not only did this deter visually from our stay, the noise at times was so loud that we could not even hear our friends while sitting next to each other at the pool. I believe that the hotel contacted some guests prior to the stay that this was happening but we were not lucky enough to receive this. Further we were charged the full rate and about 95% of the intercontinental rate around the corner. Secondly, the entire left side of our room had no power, hence the TV and coffee machine etc just did not work at all. We moved the coffee machine and plugged it in next to our bed to make coffee. Our Aircon was working however the wall terminal did not, which meant we couldn’t change the temperature which was far too cold. When we tried to go find someone to get assistance no one was there to be found. Even our breakfast was impacted when the gas line was been cut, which meant we couldn’t even have hash browns with our breakfast or scrambled eggs due to no gas. Whilst I fully understand the need to improve the hotel, and which I do think will be nice when it’s completed, what I don’t agree with is charging clients full price for staying there while this is all taking place. It is simply not fair, never mind the problems in the room which I assume were from the building works. The manager took 2 emails and a message to finally respond and offer 25% off the next stay which means nothing to us as we are international guests.

Great restaurant we booked last minute and got the best seat in the house right next to the window overlooking the sea. The food did not disappoint! Every meal was delicious, menu was much bigger than the site noted and pricing was really good!
