I had my partners surprise party in one of the function spaces (the one out the back with the big, beautiful tree!!🌴). Right from the get-go, one of the owners, Antonio was so kind, accommodating and super responsive! He made the process so easy, and he was there to help whenever I needed anything! We had such an incredible night 🥰, with great vibes, amazing cocktails and beautiful music 🎶. The surprise was great by the way and he had NO IDEA! 🤣 Antonio’s best friend, Alex even helped me cut up/ divvy out the birthday cake 🍰!! What a legend. We will definitely be back! For another function, or even just a cocktail 🍹 in one of Melbourne’s fun and quirky, hidden bars. Great place for a date, a party, or even just a boogie and beverage! Thank you again for all your help and beautiful vibes- much love ♥️

Absolutely brilliant night out. Celebrated a milestone birthday with friends and family on Saturday night. Nothing was too difficult for Antonio and he was attentive to our needs throughout the night. Food was outstanding, great drinks, friendly staff and an awesome DJ. Highly recommend this little gem to anyone who wants to have a great party, a good cocktail or just a nice cold frothy. Keep doing what you’re doing Antonio. Thanks for a great night.

Having just held a function here I have only the utmost praise for Talk To Me Bar and their staff. Had my daughter’s birthday party here recently; the place worked so well and everyone working on that night made their best efforts to make it a lovely, and such a special night for her. Nothing was too much trouble and the easygoing vibe was so relaxing!!! Memories will always stay of a wonderful fun night with family and friends!!! Thanks so much for a fabulous evening Talk To Me Bar- for anyone reading this- I can highly recommend having your next function here-as a bar and a gorgeous space to celebrate life it works so well!!!

I booked a private work function at Talk to Me bar in its Courtyard for around 30-40 people and Antonio was a delight to deal with. He was extremely friendly, open and upfront over text and wanted to work with me to make sure the venue was the right fit for the number of guests I was expecting. I paid in advance for a bar tab and the night went extremely smoothly, everyone commented that they had a great time. The staff were really attentive too, Antonio had let them know to expect me and even prepared some paper wristbands for the bar tab. Mikaela particularly was a great help, checking in to make sure things were going well and no-nonsense would get you what you needed. There was no food but the staff on the night said they were happy for folks to buy food elsewhere and bring it back into the bar, so a few of us ended up doing that and were happy. Towards the end of the night the usual Saturday night crowd started showing up which made the bar inside heaps busier whenever we ventured back inside for more drinks but we had already been at the courtyard for hours and were wrapping up. (We had been spoilt having it all to ourselves beforehand hee hee 😉) I would definitely come back again in the future.
