Our class reunion lunch was held on Wednesday and we would like to extend our appreciation to the hotel. The quality of the rooms, service, food, and staff was excellent. The buffet provided for our event was outstanding in both quality and quantity, which has prompted us to secure a booking for next year. The hotel's location, only a five-minute walk from Flinders Street Station, facilitated convenient access via public transport, and the discounted parking rate offered to our attendees was greatly appreciated. We would also like to express our gratitude to Pond for ensuring the function ran seamlessly throughout the day.

I recently stayed at Mercure Melbourne Southbank, and I can honestly say it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. A special thank you to the duty manager, who was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive throughout my visit — it truly made a difference. I also want to express my appreciation to the lady responsible for the restaurant; I unfortunately didn’t catch her name, but she was absolutely lovely and made every morning feel welcoming with her warm attitude and genuine care. Everything about the stay — from the clean and cozy room to the convenient location and excellent service — exceeded my expectations. I’m already looking forward to staying here again. Wishing the entire team, especially the duty manager and the restaurant staff, all the very best.

On my last morning there, there was no Hot water due to a plumbing issue, this I found out later was a whole building issue, but still probably shouldn't happen. The bathroom was ok, however, the cleaner did leave some long hair on the floor, that's a bit disturbing... I know this is probably out of the staffs control, but late check ins everynight so there was always noise in the corridors when trying to sleep. Lack of staff at the counter was annoying at time. if you are going to have self check ins maybe have a bell to ring if you need staff help... However, location was fine and price was resonable.

Great location. Room was clean and comfortable. Well appointed. Check in and check out was easy. Lots of parking options around. Good shower pressure. Buffet breakfast for 25 is really good value.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and have always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are comfortable, well presented and well serviced. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a wide range of food available. Always a pleasant, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel.
