Reviews for Hotel Esplanade

Had an amazing experience at The Esplanade with our community group! We had 30 girls attend, and the atmosphere and vibe were incredible. The Sunroom was the perfect spot to watch the sunset, and the service was fantastic. Huge thanks to Gareth behind the bar, who couldn’t have been more helpful, and to Ben for organising our booking so smoothly. We’ll definitely be back!

Stopped here for a drink and snack. Ordered a calamari and fried chicken. Food was disgusting. Overcooked, too much batter, tasteless. Worst calamari we have had. Chicken was unrecognisable.

Food was good, drinks good, views amazing. Selection adequate and prices for specials through the app were good. Came for the Tuesday steak special which was great. Drinks delivery was very slow though so I went to pick it up at the bar.

One of the best places in St Kilda to grab food and drinks while having fun is a spot my friends and I love. We've gone there for dinner and stayed late, dancing and enjoying how the atmosphere transforms throughout the evening.

Place was pumping, we went to see a band play, Augie March. We got there at 4.30pm and some of the areas were packed. So many bars on all the levels and staff and people everywhere, live music downstairs with people dancing. We were in the Gershwin room which soon filled up. Great venue with toilets close by and a bar right there! Band were great but they had some sound issues which was ashame. We ate dinner afterwards upstairs at Mya Tiger which was a wonderful meal, pricey but great flavours. Overall an iconic Melbourne pub...go explore
