Safe and enjoyable experience for the family!! We had a blast đ I booked surfing lessons and to spend family time here on my husbandâs 41st birthday. My son had a whale of time, his first time to learn surfing and he loved it! At home, he expressed that he wanted to come back and surf more haha. So glad it was fun, all worth memorable đ

A fantastic place to learn how to surf. It looks like so much fun! Thereâs even a spa bath to relax in after getting out of the water. The on-site restaurant and bar offer great options for food and drinks. Itâs not ideal if youâre looking for a swimming spot, as this place is dedicated solely to surfing. Weâve truly enjoyed our visits hereâitâs such great fun for surfers and a lovely spot for spectators to relax with a coffee. Absolutely amazing! Excellent food, outstanding service, and what a view! We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.

A Surfing and Photography Paradise! As someone whoâs learning to surf, I was super excited to check out Urban Surf Melbourne, and it did not disappoint! The controlled waves make it the perfect place to practice without the unpredictability of the ocean. Whether youâre a beginner like me or an advanced surfer, thereâs a wave setting for everyone. Beyond the surfing, the whole vibe of the place is awesomeâgreat atmosphere, friendly staff, and a well-set-up space to just chill and enjoy the experience. Plus, as a photographer, Iâm really keen to come back and capture some amazing wave shots for my personal Instagram. The wave pool creates such dynamic and photogenic moments, making it a dream location for surf photography. If youâre in Melbourne and love surfing (or want to start), Urban Surf is 100% worth a visit! Canât wait to head back for both the waves and the photos!

This place was great and so accommodating. As a 5'2" and plus sized individual they helped with finding a wetsuit that fit. The beginning surfing lessons were great and the coaches helped me a lot. Highly recommend and I am definitely coming back âşď¸ Restaurant had great food and drink. The hot tubs are a great place to warm up and relax the muscles after a surf. Not a swimming pool place which is cool since I was after the surfing part đ

This is a great and fun facility, but it is let down by its staff and amenities. The wave pool is fantastic, offering a variety of sessions that cater to all levels of surfing ability. However, we found the staff to be rude, argumentative, and unhelpful, the call center extremely slow, and the lack of shade a significant issue, especially since we visited during summer. Further, when surfers choose the wrong session due to their inability to catch the waves there is no way to move them to a more suitable time. Lastly, the price discourages repeat visits over short periods or visits Melbourne. Overall, it was disappointing, and I am unlikely to spontaneously recommend the facility to family and friends.
