Overall rated based on food. Service for drinks slightly slow as we ordered soft drinks and bar downstairs was near empty. However patio seating was some what bustling. Food took awhile, the short wait certainly outweigh as both plates once delivered was very enjoyable. Photos below. And enjoyed by us both. Could not fund fault with food cooked to perfection

Great local pub been around long before I was even born. 2 story's with seating on both and a bar on both story's. Great food menu to choose from. Ordered rib eye steak, chicken schnitzel and garlic bread. All the food was well presented and exactly how we ordered. Recommend trying the garlic bread crispy and soft in centre. Has elevators and stairs so can be easy for wheelchairs or prams Kids menu on offer too and can order straight from table

Well renovated hotel with indoor and outdoor seating. Outside seats have misters for Summer and great aircon for inside seats. Nicely styled and nice colour scheme. Food was great, pricey but decent value for what it was.

Popped in to the Basso for lunch with the MIL. It's a well run pub with several inside & outside seating areas, including a kids' playground. It has off-street parking. Reasonable food selection. Our meals were ok, except for a tough steak.

We frequently try new pubs, unfortunately the food was a let down today at the Bassendean. Wife had the fish tacos which had a nice salsa but were so soggy and soft that the fish became mushy and messy it was difficult and unpleasant to eat. The Mexican parmigiana was nice however the chips were stone cold when it came out and the salad was mostly just leaves lacking dressing. The buttermilk chicken as our entree had a nice BBQ sauce but was dry. Nice atmosphere and cold beer however very expensive for a pub with low quality meals
