We frequently try new pubs, unfortunately the food was a let down today at the Bassendean. Wife had the fish tacos which had a nice salsa but were so soggy and soft that the fish became mushy and messy it was difficult and unpleasant to eat. The Mexican parmigiana was nice however the chips were stone cold when it came out and the salad was mostly just leaves lacking dressing. The buttermilk chicken as our entree had a nice BBQ sauce but was dry. Nice atmosphere and cold beer however very expensive for a pub with low quality meals

The food and drinks were amazing! The seafood linguine was the best I’ve ever had. The place is gorgeous and the lady in charge, I think her name Seanne was lovely! We will be back :)

Decided to visit newly renovated pub on way to airport. Parmi special on a Thurs at $24. Grabbed an outside table in verandah area, nice to watch the world go by. Service was good and overall the parmi's were good unfortunately the chips weren't up to same quality of the parmi. They wew over cooked and shot the off plate when trying to get on fork. Salad was a let down with just pile of leaves and few slices of radish? No toms, cue, onion. But as I said the parmi itself was great .

Came by for lunch on a day out, and wow what a lovely pub. Great professional and friendly staff, the parmi was the best I’ve had ever, absolutely loved the atmosphere and the organisation of it all. Would highly recommend and will definitely return when I am in the area. I highly recommend coming here for a meal and drink and will definitely be raving about it for a while 🙌🙌🙌✨

Wanted to mention a special thanks to Sally (working in the sports bar on Tuesday night). A genuinely lovely lady who was warm, friendly and engaging. My husband and I wanted to play pool and we didn’t have the $2 coin on us. Sally gave it to us so that we could enjoy playing while we enjoyed our drinks. The food was absolutely delicious (parmi and a barramundi) and was served to us by a delightful guy (sadly didnt catch his name). It’s not often in hospitality that people take pride in what they do, but the staff here certainly made us feel welcome. Great job guys. We live locally and love the basso but you guys deserve a shout out.
