3rd December 2024 - We had ventured past this hotel the other night and the fairy lights streamed across the upper balcony certainly grabbed our attention. Therefore, we headed here for a dinner on this night. Upon entering it was absolutely grand in its inner decor, the staircase was majestic and the pub certainly had it's history on display. Given what we ordered for dinner was that of a typical pub menu, it was good. Nothing to brag about, but it was not terrible neither - just average. If you can position yourself upstairs on the balcony, it is a nice way to take in the streets of Fremantle

Wow, what an amazing pub. This place has always been a favourite of mine. It's such a beautiful, historic building. Great vibes. The meals are tasty and a great selection for all tastes. I had the grilled fish and chips. Chips were so crunchy, yummy just how I like them. The fish was cooked well. The staff are super friendly and efficient. I enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard.

We recently celebrated a 70th birthday here and it was a huge success. Great food & drinks topped off with even better service. A huge thank you to Lauren and the team who helped us make it a perfect event with no request being to much. Thank you again for your hard work and great service. We will be back again

Really enjoyed this pub last night 27/9th for dinner. Nice meals, service and kid friendly which also should be noted that the security guy was so friendly to our kids making us all feel very welcome. Loved the atmosphere and enjoyed our first night in W.A which enticed my daughter to post pictures and leave a review ☺️

First time customer well nearly. Seen the Tuesday steak special and politely said to the girl cleaning a table excuse me to get her attention to ask about the menu and a table for 8 instead of replying she just looked directly at me and ignored me some of your patrons laughed at the situation. Guess we take our money elsewhere. Shame because the steak sounds good but no point giving money to places who don't want it or need it right kill your business with poor customer service doesn't affect us. Read my other reviews first I prefer giving 5 stars to business not 1. 1 is if you actually deserve it 👋
