We recently celebrated a 70th birthday here and it was a huge success. Great food & drinks topped off with even better service. A huge thank you to Lauren and the team who helped us make it a perfect event with no request being to much. Thank you again for your hard work and great service. We will be back again

not only was the food great but there was a man trying to keep talking to me and my friends while we were trying to eat, I think everyone in the room felt a bit threatened by his tone.. the big burly bartender with a beard was an absolute mvp and came and stood between us and him to intervene, and eventually escorted the man out the door, everyone applauded his bravery in doing so!! we got to enjoy the rest of our evening here in peace thanks to this hero 🥰

I had the seafood pasta and my wife had the curry. Both were very bland, a great place for a few drinks and to watch the footy, Might be the Sunday lunch chef or lack thereof but I'm sorry to say I probably wouldn't eat there again.

First time customer well nearly. Seen the Tuesday steak special and politely said to the girl cleaning a table excuse me to get her attention to ask about the menu and a table for 8 instead of replying she just looked directly at me and ignored me some of your patrons laughed at the situation. Guess we take our money elsewhere. Shame because the steak sounds good but no point giving money to places who don't want it or need it right kill your business with poor customer service doesn't affect us. Read my other reviews first I prefer giving 5 stars to business not 1. 1 is if you actually deserve it 👋

Nice staff and great service. Try the fish butty (aka seafood sandwich) it’s really good. Nice old pub with good atmosphere P.s. great upstairs area
