Hi there, staff were lovely and helpful, nothing wrong at all there. It's more the facilities and building which are very outdated. The water pressure is bad, the carpet is old, the light features in the lobby are damaged and dusty... The bed was very comfortable to sleep in I must say. I would be nice to have a broadcast for your phone option with the TV like most 4* have. The bathroom is very bare with no toiletries (cotton buds, toothpaste...). Management is trying to save money and it really shows. I hosted an event in the function rooms and had to request tablecloths for the catering tables. The round tables in the main room didn't have tablecloths either. That is not 4* level, 3* or 3.5* at best. What you see online is not what you get. Nice little hotel, well located, just not 4* as advertised.

Aircon was not working, we were boiling, and they could not guarantee us that switching rooms to could fix the problem so we didn't switch rooms and dealt with being in a hot room. Next morning the toilet stopped working and they did not have maintenance to fix it, and they lied and said they were fully booked out and couldn't switch our rooms, which I knew was a lie because why on earth would ALL rooms in Perth in September would be booked out, they just did not want to switch us to a better room despite the toilet literally not working - and I was right because right after they called us that we can switch rooms to a better room (I thought it was all booked out?). I didn't expect high quality but I at least expected things to work and that the customer service would go above and beyond but they did not until they could tell we were pissed. The only good thing was the heated pool but definitely not worth the stay again.

Sadly this is the worst hotel I've stayed in this year. The walls are so thin you can hear people talking in the next room and if there is a child screaming or crying then you hear it all. Plus every time someone turns on a tap above you (I'm assuming its above) then you hear that too. If you don't need to sleep in, or noise doesn't bother you, then all of this is irrelevant but for me going to Perth for work, arriving late at night and needing a good sleep in the morning, it was really not ideal. I took videos to show the sound from the room next door and of the tap noise, but sadly can't add them to this review. The front desk staff were happy to move me to another room but I imagine all the walls are the same in the hotel, and the tap issue would be the same in another room. I therefore decided to change hotels and not even take the chance of another short sleep. I will commend the staff in that they agreed to refund my money for the second night even though it was non-refundable. Really grateful for this! I moved to another all accor hotel for the second night, paid $60 more and could not hear a peep from neighbours or outside, I was very happy. It seems in Perth you need to pay more to get a good hotel. Coffee at the Cafe below the hotel is good btw.

Overall good stay. Room was large, even with a king bed. Clean, but decor was dated. Gown and slippers were a nice touch. Room service food quality was pretty basic. Issue with final bill where breakfasts were charged when they were included in rate, but they fixed it quickly.

It was great service all round, front desk. Room service and breakfast buffet cannot fault. Rooms are well maintained however can use an update, walls are very thin (could hear next door and doors opening and closing). Need a wider range in the in service room menu. The pool isn't usable this time of year, would be great if it was heated and the whole upstairs outdoor area near the pool is a shambles and looks to be in the middle of construction. Tv needs to have options apart from just free to air TV. But otherwise everything was great.
