The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. As others have mentioned, parts of the hotel are looking a little dated and tired, but everything was well maintained. Service was mixed during my stay. Some staff were friendly, professional and genuinely helpful, while others were less helpful and didn't leave the same positive impression. The location is a real strength, and we had a lovely view overlooking Hay Street. Overall, a decent stay with some positives, though there are areas where the experience could be more consistent.

I had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always accommodating, they truly made me feel welcome specially Parht and James. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. Everything felt well looked after. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

I stayed here on the 18th of March for a single night, in room 211. My first impression of the hotel was the young lady at reception who greeted me warmly and talked me through getting to my room, where to park the car, and accessing the microwave in the hotel restaurant. She was genuinely lovely to deal with. The room itself was clean but showed it's age a bit. However importantly the aircon worked fine, and the bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. I then went downstairs to find the microwave, worried that it would be too late. When I asked if the restaurant was still open, the gentleman that greeted me offered to seat me without hesitation. When I asked about using the microwave, he happily took the food I had, microwaved it for me, and then proved me with a bowl, cutlery and serviette. Another genuine demonstration of old fashioned hospitality. I didn't eat at the restaurant at all during my stay but it looked to have a good number of people in it each time I went past so the food must be a draw. The property used to be a Travelodge until I believe 2022 and has clearly undergone some freshening up. It's not a brand new Westin or Sheraton, but for what you pay, I feel it represents good value, especially with a level of service you would expect from a property charging 2-3 times the price. I would absolutely stay here again.

Spacious room that’s well located to the city. Great value for money. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I booked last minute - for a great rate and got upgraded to a balcony room. Easy check in and check out.

I arrived at about 1 am due to a late-night arrival flight. Have to press the bell at the front door so the front desk staff can see you and let you in. Check-in was smooth. A high-floor room was provided due to a platinum member. The room was large. However, it was old, and the decoration was like the 90s. The air-con wasn't powerful enough. I set it at 18 °C and still feel very hot. The toilet was a very old-style one, but it was clean. Just the shower from the bath tube wan't strong enough. Just stay for a short night , no complaint. Breakfast was a very simple one, so don't expect too much.(video provided for the buffet breakfast ) The staff was very polite and provided good service. They offered late check-out for a platinum member.
