My advice to you unless you are desperate for a place to stay… do not even step foot into this place. Disclaimer: I have stayed in MANY hotels in my life and many of which have not been very glam.. but this was downright dangerously disgusting. After a long tiring flight went to go check into the hotel. First of all, saw they had underground parking.. was more like a goolag and we were driving a small car. As we were pulling into the car park, we saw clean towels and clean bedsheets in metal cages out in the open for everyone to see, god only knows what could be crawling around in that carpark. But anyway we still proceed to check in. Walked up to our room, walking around having a look… crumbs everywhere, dust everywhere, makeup marks on the walls, hair everywhere, random black marks on pillows and towels, mould in the bathrooms…. Cut. Dirty. Toenails. On. The. Floor… After heading down to reception and being like “hey guys hate to do this but uhhhhh can you please refund us because our room is filthy” I am not about to get bitten by some random bugs whilst I sleep thank you. They offered a room upgrade. Was no better. There was a strip eyelash plastered to the floor of the balcony with thick black hair all over the floor. Our upgraded room also started to smell like mariju****… even though it is a non smoking hotel. Headed down to reception for the second time because again I will not be staying in a hotel that is filthy. Proceeded to ask for a refund and got the response of “oh was the upgrade not good enough for ya”. If any person was offered something they did not pay for… they would be polite and respectful about it. Ended up leaving and booking at the doubletree by Hilton where I was greeted with warm cookies.
Came to the hotel not expecting much....but was pleasantly surprised. The location is great with a RED CAT bus stop directly out the front. We were greeted by the front office manager James who was great, he was very helpful getting us checked in and helped us with any questions during our stay. The room was basic but clean and spacious. Only negative about this hotel was the breakfast.... it was lacking in quality the scrambled eggs resembled egg soup and the fruit was all from a can. No fresh fruit to be found. So the breakfast wasn't worth the price charged. I must clarify that Im a Platinum Accor + member so my breakfast was free - I would not of paid for it either. Would I stay there again ....maybe! as the choices of reasonably priced hotels in Perth are seriously lacking!
Came here on a Wednesday did a day stay 9am to 4pm . Just to get away from the craziness of Christmas.. Bit of RNR ....The staff were welcoming from the moment I walked in.. I was upgraded to king size room as there wasn't a queen size available. Room was lovely there was a balcony outside the air con worked so well I was freezing after a while.. The bathroom was compact loved loved loved the eco friendly shampoo conditioner and body lotion on wall bottles.. Tea and Coffee in room bed comfortable loved my time here. Next time I'll try the restaurant/bar downstairs..
Easy checkin staff member was great and explained the hotel and the places to go see around the hotel. Bar on ground floor was good and well priced the over all price for the room was great. Breakfast was great.
Hotel location is pretty good but for the price and the Mecure name I expected more especially at the price. Breakfast was below standard and we didn’t return after our first day. I was also very suprised that my All Accor Gold membership wasn’t recognised for food and beverage at the hotel. I did note a table full of discarded crockery and litter on a table in the lobby one morning as we left and was disappointed to see it still there on our return some eight hours later.
