This is a pretty good hotel for the facilities that it offers. It is different than the traditional 5 star hotel and much better value for money. The rooms are studio apartments and with extra money spent, you can get great city views and more spacious rooms. The rooms have all the necessary facilities and amenities and if you fancy cooking meals, appliances, ovens, stoves, microwaves are all in the kitchen area in each room. The space is really nice and comfortable and is a great option if you want to explore different accommodation. The staff are nice and helpful and checking in and out is seamless. The prices per night are generally reasonable but can vary in conjunction with the seasons and demand for accommodation. The hotel is well located, few minutes walking from Perth Central train station, making it very simple to take trains and buses from the city to anywhere where the trains and busses go. You can also take a stroll to the river and enjoy the Elizabeth Quay views. I would recommend this place for a visit, perfect for solo business travellers.

The location is the best thing about this place. However, the rooms are warm. The bathroom smells bad even when you clean it up yourself multiple times. Check in time is at 2 pm. Overall, it’s okay.

We checked in late in the evening and there was a welcome card , fruits and bottles of water in the room. Check in was easy and manager is friendly and made us feel welcome. Room is clean and big enough for 2 of us. There was a small kitchenette. We were given fresh towels every other day. Staff was friendly and welcome us back whenever we returned from our outing. Such caring and thoughtful gesture. Hotel is within walking distance to Murray Street Mall ,Hay Street Mall, Perth Station , K Mart, Coles and Woolsworth Supermarkets. Many eateries are around the hotel too. A big "Thank You" to the staff of Oaks Hotel especially to Vivian, the manager for giving us a pleasant and enjoyable 7-day stay in your hotel. We will come back to the hotel when we come to Perth again.

Pretty good location and price, the staff are helpful on arrival and checkout, we didn't try the buffet as I'm on holiday so wanted to try local stuff but the room was honestly perfect and spacious, great kitchen area and bathroom. Honestly I'd live in it if it was an apartment. Though I was disappointed in the channels on the TV, there was no info showing for the channels so was hard to tell what was on or the theme of the channel, we gave up eventually and just watched stuff on our phones.

Great location, dated rooms, decent staff. Rooms need urgent upgrade, it was so difficult to sleep in the room with refrigerator making cracking sound all the time. 10 AM checkout time is unfair, staff is decent, enjoyed conversation with Balraj. Thanks
