We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel! The welcome was exceptional from the moment we arrived — the staff were warm, professional and always ready to help. Every service throughout the hotel was great and made the experience even more enjoyable. There is an impressive variety of restaurants and activities, so there is always something to do or discover during the stay. The location is also very convenient, close to everything while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The view was absolutely breathtaking and made the whole experience even more special. Everything was also extremely clean and well maintained at all times, which we really appreciated. A beautiful hotel with an amazing atmosphere that we would happily recommend 😊

That's a reasonable suggestion to include as your opinion. Here's a smoother version: Writing Very disappointed with our visit. The place was far too crowded, and it was hard to find a seat with all the tables full. The food was overpriced for what it was, with food court-style meals averaging around $36 per person. The gaming tables were also much more expensive than I remember. The last time I visited, the minimum bet was $2. Now it's $5 minimum chips and $5 minimum bets, making it less appealing for anyone who just wants a casual game. It was so busy that we couldn't even get close enough to some of the tables to work out how the games were played. The card system was frustrating for first-time or occasional visitors. We had problems with our cards not working and had to ask staff for help several times. You still need cash to buy gaming chips and to play the poker machines, which seems outdated. In my opinion, it would make much more sense if the membership card could be loaded with funds via online banking before you arrive. It could still enforce your spending limits, while making everything easier for customers. It would also provide a fully traceable payment system, which could help reduce money laundering. We don't visit very often, and this experience reminded us why. Overall, it was overcrowded, overpriced, and not an enjoyable experience.

Exceptional hotel experience, makes Melbournes look old. Every Team Member here was impeccable with their service, matching the atmosphere of a high end adventure, people dressed to the nine’s walking through the venue every night of the week. Steak on the gaming floor @ $59 - not worth it, although the efforts there - makes dining @ Rockpool etc., the level you WANT to play at, but where to play @ the tables, or on the restaurant, I hope it’s not all a wild gamble. Team @ the bar and restaurant, so so accomodating, though not a gambler I needed their table for 40 mins to deal with something back home - they let me be, let me finish my beer and take an order nearly an hour after sitting. Amazing - thank you very much, I felt very comfortable, it made the experience of the meal that much better. Need to come back and have a weekend, and I wouldn’t do that @ Melbourne!

went to MJ show and thought we could get a drink and a quick feed...no chance!! 😥 Merriwell pub had an hour wait...bars were under manned..... Then after the show around 10pm we went to the urban food garden.... It shut just as we entered!!!!! 😡The MJ show was fantastic though 👍

Crown still has some of the best dealers and frontline staff around. The employees do their best under difficult conditions and genuinely care about customer experience. Unfortunately, management appears to be moving in the opposite direction. For a business positioned as a premium 5-star entertainment venue, customer experience no longer seems to be the priority. It feels like the focus is now purely on cutting costs and improving short-term numbers rather than maintaining the quality Crown was known for. The poker room is the clearest example. During peak periods and public holidays, there are often huge waiting lists with not enough dealers rostered to run games. You end up with a village of players waiting around while tables sit unavailable because there simply aren’t enough staff scheduled. The existing dealers are working hard, but there’s only so much they can do. From the outside, it feels like management is trying to streamline the business to make the financials look better rather than investing in the actual customer experience. Cutting staffing costs at the expense of service is short-sighted, especially in hospitality and entertainment where atmosphere and experience are everything. Crown’s staff deserve better support, and customers deserve the premium experience they’re paying for.
