Have stayed here multiple times and always found it to be great value, quality rooms, great gym, and good location. Hotel was clean, but the room felt tired and in need of updating. Staff were welcoming, beds still very good and the coffee shop remains excellent

Very disappointing stay, I would say more of a 3 star hotel not 5 star. Definitely no special treatment for disabled guests or help. No help with bags to room. Card stopped working 3 times. Room smelt bad when entering. Not one piece of furniture wasn’t damaged in one way or another, same with soft furnishings dirty dirty dirty especially the couch!!! No commentary drinking water. Drains smelt during the night. Bathroom was dirty and mould between tiles. Very limited tv channels, I have double the amount at home on free to air. Staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. No parking available and with an intellectually disabled child it was very hard finding the other parking, please let people in this situation book a parking bay. Pool wasn’t very warm even though it stated heated when booking. For the price we paid I feel very ripped off!

I really don’t get how this hotel has such great reviews. Here’s what happened: When we checked in, the mini fridge was packed with ice and had towels crammed inside. We called housekeeping three times before someone finally came. The air conditioning in the bedroom smelled awful. We had to turn it off and open the windows to get fresh air and no stink. The TV remote in the front room didn’t work. There was mold on the carpet where the bathroom meets the hallway. The bathroom had mold between some tiles. While showering, I noticed a heart with initials fogged onto the bathroom door from a previous guest. The bathroom had a weird smell at night, kind of like a backed-up drain. We spent most of the day sightseeing and only noticed these issues when we were getting ready for bed. We couldn’t sleep at all, so we went to the concierge to cancel our second night. We were in Perth for a work conference and had stayed at the Intercontinental for the event, so we ended up going back there since we knew it was a decent place. The front desk guy was really polite and apologetic. He offered us other options, but the place gave us the ick by then. With only four hours before we had to get up, we decided to stay and leave in the morning. They promised us 20% off the night, but now they’re saying we left the room messy, which isn't true the only thing I can think of is the spare bed we moved into the bedroom because the front TV didn’t work and the draft from the open window was giving the my friend the chills. Overall, the location wasn’t great for exploring Perth. It’s not close to many shops and the room isn't great. The only reason I've given two stars is because the staff we interacted with were nice enough. Would not recommend this hotel at all. There are better places to stay for this high price point.

The overall stay was ok. It was for one night so we can’t say much about the location as we arrived in the evening and left for The airport the next morning. We had to rooms that could be opened up to an apartment with two bedrooms. We only had one pair of slippers and bathrobe and had to ask for three more from room service. The spa area was as in Sydney too cold. Sauna and jacuzzi not really warm which is not nice. We ordered dinner from the hotel restaurant. The fries were undone and the pizza seemed to be forgotten in the oven. They replaced it for free for a new one which then was much better. Fries still not really fried though. Staff is friendly but overall this is not a 5 star hotel.

Nothing spectacular. There are better options in Perth at a better rate. For the price, you could do better elsewhere. Maybe if the they added value with a breakfast inclusion. Gets 4 stars as checkout is 11 instead of 10.
