I've stayed at the park Hyatt Sydney, Seoul, Kyoto and Hyatt properties in the USA and Europe. This one is one of my favorites. The layout is so unique in that it is a mixture of ranch style with multiple lounges and gardens. The hotel interior reminds me of elegance from the 1920s with hardwood floors and decorative walls and ceilings. Beautiful place to get married. I'm a fan of breakfast buffets and I really liked theirs. Also the hotel has an official dog owned by the manager that is precious

One of the best hotels I’ve ever visited. I stayed twice in one week, and it was genuinely stunning both times. Everything just works here — from the design and atmosphere to the level of service. The rooms are beautifully done, incredibly comfortable, and feel more like a high-end private space than a typical hotel room. What really stood out to me was the consistency. It’s easy to impress once, but coming back just a few days later and having the exact same great experience says a lot. If you’re staying in Canberra, this place is an easy choice.

I am saddened to be writing this review as the Hyatt is such a beautiful Hotel and the staff are lovely but sadly the Hyatt appears to be cutting corners but charging more for less. I was apart of group of 4 ladies who attended the Hyatt this morning 26/2/2026 to experience a High Tea. This has become a lovely tradition for us ladies for some time now to get together and catch up as we are long time friends and live in different areas. Today I was shocked and saddened by the minimalistic amount of food and the cheap rather tart tasting Prosecco that we were served. We reminisced about the lovely hot food that we had been served in the past and the lovely cucumber sandwiches, the amazing cakes and not to mention the beautiful fluffy scones with raspberry jam and cream. But unfortunately today we were served one 3 tiered plate to be shared between 2 of cold offerings. The top plate had some small pretty cakes on, following this the second tier had some very salty quite hard scones with some sort of resemblance of a sloppy apricot jam and cream. On the lower tier there were tasteless sandwiches and cut into rectangles and not a cucumber sandwich insight just creamy tasteless fillings, yuk. It was so disappointing and we were charged $85 per head, I couldn't believe it. What have you done to our beautiful experience of High Tea at the Hyatt its such a shame that you have gone down the track of many other large businesses and are trimming the fat and cutting corners instead of making it a memorable and positive experience just to save a few dollars. Just adding to this the service was good and the staff were very friendly so no complaints there. Sadly this tradition will end at the Hyatt this year and we will find an alternative venue.

We recently stayed at Park Hyatt and had an amazing experience. Everything was 10/10 from start to finish. The service was outstanding, the staff were warm and professional, and every detail was taken care of. The room, facilities, and overall atmosphere were excellent. As I came from another Hyatt overseas, it was amazing to see how well they looked after me and my family during the stay. We truly felt welcomed and cared for throughout. The team also took great care of us during breakfast and lunch, which were both amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return again.

Just lovely grand hotel charm - the staff were great, rooms magnificent. Food a little pricey but excellent. Very happy we stayed here. Probably not ideal if you don’t have a car, but who comes to Canberra without a car??? :-)
