I have stayed at Crowne Plaza Burwood before but was disappointed this time. Everything now requires using your device from parking to getting the room service menu and ordering...even getting something for the mini bar! The QR code to be scanned is on the front of the fridge but you have to bend down to access it. I was told I could use the tablet or paper copy of the menu but there were none provided. The room was fine, if somewhat bare. Great shower and toiletries and a deep bath and big bath sheets. Bed was very comfortable. But, the toiletry dispensers are fixed near the shower and there's no soap provided so not sure how you use the body wash on the bath! I actually had my own bath bubbles...luckily The ironing board is on a shelf above the sink. No way I could have reached it. And, the TV screen kept breaking up and losing sound. I turned it off. Shout out to Annie for her friendly greeting and service.

Everything was great overall. We had quite a lot of requests for the room and for the preparation of our event, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. They made sure everything was arranged well, and we really appreciated their support. A perfect choice if you want easy access to the city and nearby dining spots.

I recently spent four days at the Crowne Plaza, and thanks to Roselle at the front desk, it truly felt like coming home. From the moment I arrived, she made everything smooth, easy, and warmly welcoming. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care created an atmosphere that put me at ease straight away. It’s rare to encounter someone who can turn a hotel stay into something memorable and personal, but Roselle did exactly that. I’m grateful for her exceptional service — she made my time here feel comfortable, cared for, and special. Thank you, Roselle. You set the standard for hospitality.

Room: HUGE in size but all covered with marble floor. Bath area is semi-covered and no lock on bathroom door. No hand held shower head. Water temp adjust is fine but pressure is not high enough. Not so family-friendly but still acceptable. There's a huge terrace but not very hygiene.(see attached). No drinks in mini bar no matter free or not. AC is defaultly on the eco mode so it can be on and off all the time. Service: Asked for a cot for kid but waited for 2+ hrs and nothing happened. Don't drive here cuz you have to check in at the front desk then you can pay for parking. Weird logic. Except the flaws, location is super great. Close to the Train station, Burwood Westfield and the food street. Quiet in the night.

The staff at thrle hotel were very nice and helpful. The hotelis very well located and tge room was very nice and functional. Room tempreature was easy to control. The hitel cleanliness was very good. The breakfast omlette and coffee at breakfast were excellent but the rest of Breakfast was a catasrophe! The chemical spew trying to impersonate orange juice was disgraceful and the other offerings would be sub par at a HIX. It needs a lot of improvement but the room was very nice and with some care and attention could be appropriate to a Crowne Plazza.
