Castle Hill Tavern is situated in the Hills District close to the city of Sydney. The venue is well equipped with two purpose built function rooms suitable for any occasion. The functions team at Castle Hill Tavern are focused on providing first class service and flexibility. We understand that every function is unique and therefore strive to meet the needs of our clients to the finest detail. As our function rooms are located next to each other we are able to utilise both rooms for larger style events. Castle Hill Tavern has plenty of other great areas to offer for smaller functions such as our beer garden or public bar booths. Very nice and friendly staff. Even it was 2 minutes to close the kitchen they took our order. The food was more than enough and tasted very good. We definitely will come back again.

Fantastic place. Had a 3 day stay in Norwest and ate at Castle Hill Tavern every night. Any place with a roaring fireplace on a cold winter's night is perfect in my book! ☺️

The Chicken Schnitzel that I had was surprisingly good. The Schnitty was perfectly fried with a nice crunchy coating, and the salad had a good dressing as well. Service was friendly & reasonably quick. The decor of the place is a bit dated, which is probably the main drawback of this place. Still, it’s a good place if you’re looking for a competitively priced, quick & easy pub meal with a bevvy.

Food goes alright but one short lady with short brown hair had zero customer service skills and I believe she judges people based on their appearance. I was in the pokies room in a group of 4 for over an hour and she never once (in all the times she came and fixed the chairs) asked us how we were going or asked if we needed anything. Towards the end of our night, three older men came in and she followed them in asking if they wanted any drinks. She didn’t ask us if we needed any and walked straight past us. She needs to be trained in customer service and learn to treat everyone equally. I felt as though we were discriminated against based on how we looked.
