A beautiful French restaurant in the city. We ordered onion soup, snail, risotto, lamb, duck legs and delicious french wines and champagne. Loved the drinks. I personally liked the snail dish more. Then we had beautifully yum crepe and few other desserts. Overall a nice place to be. It's bit little expensive.
Tonight was such a vibe at Gavroche Chippendale Cool, beautiful ambience that set the perfect mood. The steak tartare was next level, and the French onion soup was rich and comforting. We had the scampi and the steak—both absolutely delicious. Service was on point and super accommodating. We were seriously impressed. Can’t wait to go back. Bon appétit!
Tried their degustation set. Although it promised that you won't feel too full, as a person with a small appetite, I still had some struggles after finishing the meal, so if you are like me, I suggest not ordering sides. Food wise we enjoyed their beef tartare toastie, scallop and oyster, very refreshing. Dishes after those were a bit too disappointing, mains were greasy (onion soup and the sauce on the duck) and sweets were too sweet.
Our first visit necessitated a 2nd. Perfect caviar bumps, smooth divine duck păté, steak frites and amazing service from our servers and maitre’ d Franck. I have found the best Thermidor a la balmain bug. Wanted to order double! Thank you team, I’ll be back again soon!
Cosy French restaurant with excellent food and good service. I ordered the snails, duck, French onion soup and steak with fries. I was happy withd everything.
