I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Hydro Majestic at the Blue Mountains, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in many ways. Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and took the time to ensure I was comfortable. The hotel offers a range of amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable. The on-site restaurant was a highlight, with a diverse menu and delicious food. I highly recommend booking The Wintergarden for its High Tea. Overall, I had a wonderful stay. The combination of great service, and comfortable accommodations made for an unforgettable experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Whether you’re in town for business, leisure, or a special occasion, this hotel has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
I absolutely LOVE The Hydro Majestic. The staff are very kind and welcoming - Nothing is too much trouble!! The food is lovely in the Winter Garden and also the Boiler House. The rooms are stunning and there is so much history and enchantment. There are many places to enjoy a coffee or cocktail, read, ponder or just peer out over the valley from the escarpment. It’s a magical place and once you stay there you will always want to return.
A fantastic location for exploring the blue mountains! The views are incredible and it's just a short drive (left or right!) to some excellent hikes and waterfalls! The rooms are a little small and dated but the service and food were good. There's a couple of small towns very close by that so brilliant breakfast/lunch/dinner options too if the menu isn't winning you over.
Alittle disappointing this time round. Came to this hotel over 30 years ago and it was absolutely amazing, from the minute we drove in, Stunning views great for walking and exploring... came to stay and wow I never thought I would see it so run down. The maintenance on the property is so poor not well looked after and they have closed off the walking path. All over grown. So no where to go for a walk... The breakfast was fresh but not too many choices and boring same old food.. The teapots are badly stained which doesn't make your tea experience so nice.. Dinner was ok, overpriced for what you receive....Next time I return to the Blue Mountains I will definitely book somewhere else...
A lovely historic building. High Tea was tasty with a gorgeous view. Location is OK, and not too far from other Mountain hot spots, but it is not located within a village etc, so you need to drive to other restaurants, shops etc. Our room was on the smaller side but still comfortable. The bed and pillow and sheets were the best I've had in a long time. Breakfast had a lovely view and was nice, but don't expect a massive buffet like in a large hotel chain etc. It was still good though.
