Stunning hotel with excellent amenities. We enjoyed the various sitting rooms and professional services provided. The views are spectacular! Amazing location. The only negative I’d say is the rooms are tiny for the price you pay. The options to include dinner and breakfast are worth considering.

Really enjoyed our stay. All the areas of the hotel are amazingly beautiful. We had our dinner in the main room. The service was impeccable but food while great, slightly underwhelming for the price. I ordered the twice cooked octopus entree and got a single tiny little tenticle finished in about 4 small bites.

Don't spend your time or money for the high tea. It was awful. We are from the US and our son wanted to show us the beautiful Blue Mountains, so we spent 5 days there. The five of us went to High Tea. We called ahead because we were bringing a 2 year old, and we wanted to ensure that we and the other diners ate peacefully. I'm guessing this restaurant seats about 100 people. While we ate, there were maybe 10 customers total. In this gigantic room the waiter sat us at a table where half of us couldn't see the view. We had to request a change and the staff reluctantly complied. My husband does not drink tea nor does he eat sweets, so he was the designated baby sitter. Traveling with a toddler is unpredictable. We needn't have worried. The staff was so unwelcoming and unhelpful it didn't matter. My husband ordered a coffee, but he was not allowed to sit at the table unless he paid for the tea. The waiter said he would "check with his manager", which he never did. The 3 of us were left awkwardly sitting and trying to eat quickly. We told them we were vegetarians and the waiter said "he would see what he could do". We all ordered the same thing, which was not the Asian food choice that included fried foods we did not want. However, what the staff did was substitute the meatless food from that choice to our order. We ended up with greasy fried food at 11:30 am that we did not order. The food was terrible and the sweets were mediocre. We were there no more than 40 minutes.

The price for the room is inflated. We paid $370 for one night and the size of the room was smaller than what we'd had in NYC. No bath in the bathroom, black muold in the ceiling, dirty bathroom tiles - with that could be cleaned away or just re-grouted. Painted tiles in the bathroom that look cheap, and cheaply decorated rooms. The lobby/reception smelt like a toilet or cheap air freshener. Service was excellent. Everyone was very kind and thoughtful absolutely doing their best and providing exceptional service. The location is of course gorgeous. The restaurant is beautiful and wines are incredibly well priced. The price of the rooms just don't marry with the actual room.

We had 6-course meal during their Yuletide fest in Wintergarden. The service is great, they accommodated our dietary requirements and made sure we are comfortable and happy with the food. The price is worth it with the food they serve and prioritising their customers all the time. The Winter Garden also has a good ambience with their live music. Will definitely go back.
