Fathers Day - was busy with bookings but they fit us in. Beautiful spot right out the front. Family of 4 - all vegan. We were after a light nibble so got the good old shoestring fries, warm olives, as well as the sides - potatoes, greens, grilled fioretto. Was all full of flavour and delicious. And raspberry sorbet for the kids to finish. Everyone was very happy. Looked like there was a couple of good vegan options on the menu for a more substantial meal.
Staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful; Food was delicious although a little on the expensive side. The interior of the restaurant was charming and reminiscent of old world European restaurants by the Mediterranean so we were happy to pay that bit extra for the food. Only suggestion would be to have awning rather than umbrellas on the sidewalk so the view (which is charming - water boats etc) from inside the restaurant was not blocked. Thank you for a memorable experience at Barrenjoey House we highly recommend especially for taking overseas guests.
Dinner was delicious! The beef cheek and duck cooked so well, fell apart at the touch of our forks. Staff were lovely and friendly, and the place is gorgeous. Food was a little on the expensive side, but when you don’t do it often it doesn’t matter!
We stopped here for lunch. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. I had the beef cheeks and it melted in my mouth. Super tasty. The spicy mandarin margarita was refreshing. Well worth the price and the location is beautiful with view of the sea.
We celebrated my mums birthday here and the staff made the experience so memorable. The food is always delicious and the ambience lovely. Can highly recommend their spicy mandarin margaritas!
